Tab headings - Remove the word Xero, leave title of tab
Is there a way that we could see the names of opened Tabs so that we could see the name of what we are working on such as Balance Sheet instead of seeing Xero | Balance Sheet. When we open HST/HST returns, it shows GST/HST Returns which is great.
We know we are with in Xero. If Xero has to show up, it could be added to the end of the Tab heading. This way, opened Tabs would be a breeze to drag in alphabetical order. This would also facilitate working with Workona resources to put Tabs in alphabetical order.1 vote -
Billable Expenses - Tickbox to remove outstanding expense from multiple bills at a time
If an item has been billed manually or your stuck with some items in billable expenses you have to open every bill and remove the client from the items that are have not been billed.
Could you add a tick box selection in the Billable Expenses - Outstanding so that you can then select a remove billable expenses from multiple bills in one go.5 votes -

It would be nice if the Xero app was fully functional like the website. I have clients that only use tablets and rarely use the website. Making the app identical to the website in feature would make it easier for them to do things

AU Payroll - Customise User Permissions
We need the ability to further customise User Permissions. For example, a company could have 3 bank accounts and one credit card, all of which need reconciling, but I want two employees to share responsibility. So, employee A can do two bank accounts, and Employee B can do 1 bank account, and one credit card, and each can only see what they are responsible for. Secondly, we should be able to set up a Finance Manager who has certain permissions again separate from all other options. UK Payroll - Allocate leave to different pay period
Currently, Xero automatically assigns holiday leave to the pay period in which it falls. However, for businesses with a different pay schedule within the tax periods, (e.g., a financial period running from the 6th to the 5th of the month), such as cut off being the 28th of the previous month and paying on the 5th of the month. this can cause confusion and misalignment in holiday pay processing. Employees may receive their holiday pay in a month that doesn’t align with the leave taken, leaving them out of pocket or causing administrative burdens.

As part of preparing accounts, the average employee number is often required. If this could be generated within Xero that would save time collating the number of employees per month and working out an average for the year. It could subsequently be used as working out the amount of revenue attributable to each staff member.

Purchase Orders - Mark items as received to update inventory without having to create an approved bill
We often receive all or partial items of a purchase order before the supplier bill. We want to be able to mark these items as received on the PO so that our inventory will update the quantity we have on hand.

Contacts - Keep 'Use as billing address' checked when edited
When using the new Check box. 'Use as billing address'. If you type in the address afterwards and edit the address. It deletes the the selected checkbox. 'use as billing address'
Just frustrating as you have to go back in and recheck.

Overpayment - Ability to set allocation date
Set Overpayment Allocation Date:
Currently we are not allowed to change the date when an overpayment is applied to an invoice. It is allocated to the issue date of the invoice.
The inability to change the date when allocating the overpayment to an invoice is causing problems where payments are now being applied to a closed sales tax period, which in turn causes the need for sales tax amendments and additional report filing.1 voteThanks for sharing the reasons why this is important to your. AU Payroll | Employee - View employment duration date below start date
The "Details" tab lists the employee's age under the "Date of birth" field.
Having "Employed for # Years & # Months" below the "Start date" field would be handy. It would give a quick, "at a glance" look at how long someone has been employed by a business for estimating notice periods and anticipating imminent entitlement to LSL.
Attached is what the "Date of birth" currently looks like (I've used my own name and birth year) and a mock-up of what I'm suggesting might look like.

We use a separate system for creating POs and would like to record our PO number in a dedicated field when entering the corresponding bill(s)
