  1. I run a braille transcription business and must submit braille files along with invoice. I would like to send all from once source, Xero, rather than in a separate email. Attach .cdr (CorelDraw) and .B2K (Braille2000) files (other file types, too).

  2. Delivery Address:

    To have the ability to add a delivery address when raising an invoice that can be printed onto the invoice. This would need to permanently save the delivery address to that invoice. When a new invoice to the same customer is raised then have the ability to enter another delivery address if required without effecting the previous invoice delivery address.

  3. When depositing checks, I often search for the customer name or invoice number and deposit ONE CHECK AT A TIME. While this is less efficient than batch deposits, it works fine for our low volume of checks (most customers pay by CC or ACH now). That said, it would be more convenient to navigate to business/invoices/awaiting payment in one step than navigating to invoices and then clicking on the awaiting payment tab in a second step. IOW, you should show the sub-navigation within invoices so you can go to the exact tab you want.

  4. NZ Payroll. Contractors invoicing us on piece of work basis, we need to deduct WT and to do Payday filing with IRD. In Xero Payroll, can Xero split "Contractors" from "Employees" clearly in all reports (I see many others have asked for that already) and add a "bill feature" to Contractors in Xero Payroll similar to that we use in Xero Payables so we can copy/edit them in future? This will enable saving contractor's bills in each pay run and use bill layout document vs timesheet. Otherwise, if contractors bills that include WT are processed in Xero Payables, can Xero…

  6. Where the Xero bank account balance and the bank's account balance don't match, but the account has been fully reconciled, Xero displays both balances.

    It would be good if Xero would also show the difference, ie, how much is the difference between Xero and the bank.

    1. Add a running total column for outstanding invoices/bills in contact activity

    2. An option to switch between the base currency and the billing currency (on the below screenshot). This will provide a view of the outstanding amount to be paid in the selected currency.

  7. Can you allow both a BAS agent and Tax agent (and the staff of each) to both have "Advisor" access to a ledger file.

    As only the subscription holder and their staff can have this currently it limits the functionality of the other practice who also have legitimate need for reporting etc.

  8. It would be incredibly helpful to be able to update multiple notes at once. For example, if I have a list of 300 invoices and a statement has been sent, I want to see that note on each invoice, so that anyone going into that account can see the last action. So for example, I want to add the note 'Statement sent today requesting payment by 19th April' to all 300 invoices, but I want to be able to select them all and add that note once, not 300 separate times.

  10. The new feature sets the discount column to numeric value by standard. My business uses % and it's incredibly tedious having to type % each time. We can do 10-20 quotes a day with an average of 30 products per quote. So a feature that would allow us to click a button to default to percentage, so when you type a number the % appears (like in old Xero).

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest his idea has received. Introducing the ability to add a discount amount was highly requested by our community. We recognise for customers that discount by % this means you'll need to enter a % symbol where y ou wouldn't have done so before.

    With quite a few items drawing our teams attention at present we want to be upfront that developing a default option for discounts isn't in the pipeline atm. This is something we'll keep reviewing and consider as a future improvement in this space. If there is any change or progress around this I'll let you know on the idea, here.

  11. The ability to have accounts display in GL account number order on reports. It boggles the mind that this is not an option already!

  13. Can there please be a function to schedule an email remittance advice at the same time as scheduling a future bill payment. I schedule all bill payments throughout the month but have to record which dates I am scheduling different bills to paid in my calendar so I can remember to send a remittance advice on that day. Would be much more time efficient if could schedule a remittance advice to be automatically sent the same day the payment is made / bill is paid.

  15. It would be great to be able to filter by the PAYROLL DATE not just the DUE DATE for Superannuation Payments.
    This would make it a lot easier when creating smaller super batch payments.
    Currently, we pay our 100 staff's super each month (30 days after) and this means I need to manually click next to each individual payment line. I can multi-select all, but that will select every single line for all months.

  16. Would love to see the option to assign an expense approver to multiple expense submitters or even an 'Approvalmax' approver matrix function added to Xero Expenses. Currently using Xero Expenses to administer over 100 employees expenses and need stronger controls than central finance approving all. Happy to help design/ test!

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the number of users that'd like to see more mechanisms to assign and control who approves specific employee's claims.

    Our product teams have a close eye on this idea, and while this feature is not in the roadmap atm, they'll keep reviewing this as they continue to plan and prioritise work for Expenses. So, if there us any shift in status we'll share an update to keep you all informed on the idea, here.

  17. While in Dashboard and in a bank account, if I have a bank rule being used and you see it on the right with the vendors name, please add the gl acct in that same box so I can look at each gl account before I hit OK and save. Some vendors are used with different expenses so not seeing the particular gl acct makes me do extra steps by click on details and checking there.

  19. We recently converted from Quickbooks Desktop and are trying to reproduce a "Sales by Customer" Report that sorts descending by gross invoice amount but groups the contacts within the contact group together. In Xero, I cannot figure out a way to accomplish this.
