  1. Add a TPAR tax form in Xero Practice Manager (XPM) so that we can generate signing pages like we can with a BAS or PSAR. When lodging via a client's Xero file or the ATO portal, we tick a box to say we have a declaration from the client, authorising us to lodge their TPAR, but there seems to be no report we can print to show them what we're going to lodge, nor signing pages that they can sign, so meeting this declaration requirement is proving difficult.

  2. If you currently want to edit a line on the to do list you have to create a new line and enter the data, than delete the previous item.
    It would be great if we could have an edit function on the to do list so we did have to add the extra step of recreation

  3. Include "Statements" in the XPM Business\Settings\Personalisation - Email Sending Settings section so that emailed customer/client statements are sent from the practice and not the individual staff member email address who may happen to have emailed out a customer/client statement.

  7. When will we have an option to update all client emails/phone numbers at the same time?
    It would be really helpful if the system would search for all 'same' emails or phone numbers and allow for these all to be updated/amended.

  9. When you post payments into Current Assets or Current Liabilities you are then able to allocate these payments off against transactions. For example PAYE, We pay this monthly so when you post the payment against the liability you can then allocate this off. You can then have an option to view allocated and unallocated lines.

  10. Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
    Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).

  11. Delete Multiple Jobs. When you want to cancel/delete a job, you have to do this one by one. This is okay but if you have like 30 BAS jobs from x client, it is a pain to delete one by one.

On JOB MANAGER - If more than one staff member is allocated to a job with multiple tasks a icon / green tick / should be added next to a persons name or the name should be highlighted if all their tasks in that specific job is completed. That will help with recon process for managers, without having to go into the job every time to see which staff member has to still complete their tasks.

  13. There is currently no functionality to either re-name or disable the standard business structure types provided in XPM. For example "Not for Profit" is technically an entity classification - a NFP classification could apply to a Private Company, a Public Company or an Incorporated Association to name a few examples. We have used custom fields to profile these types of classifications separately. Currently, we have to manually review business structure profiles & update these where types outside our guidelines have been applied. It would save a great deal of hassle if unwanted types could be re-configured or disabled at practice…

  15. There is the option of adding Groups as a taxable group, however if the option is not selected client members of that group still pull through as related parties when adding a new return. The ability to use multiple Groups would be a great driver for "advisory" automations in 3rd party software if it didn't have that adverse outcome. Enhancement request - adding a tax return the related clients should only pull through members of the taxable group and exclude members of the "advisory" group.

  17. Currently you can only set up one cover page template for tax returns in XPM. We'd like to be able to set up two different cover letters with different branding for each tax return and alternate between the two (i.e. select which cover letter you want for that return) when we are printing the tax return.

  18. If you have your firm time billing set to round up then all of the reports - even actual time reports, report the rounded hours and not the actual minutes worked. This is really inaccurate and makes it really difficult for me to get a good gauge on employee billing and performance. Please look at amending any reports using a rounded time figure that should be actual time.

    In addition and also critical to this issue XPM timesheets for payroll but I am also pretty certain that if you are using XPM timesheets for your payroll it pulls/exports the rounded…

    A functionality (app) that can scan a manual handwritten timesheet from a notebook and enter the time spent into XPM timesheet, for people who prefer manually writing timesheets in a notebook.
