  2. In any particular Xero account, you can review the history notes (essentially an audit log), however we do not seem to have the ability to audit a particular staff member's activity across all clients.

    This would be useful if you have a particular firm employee making the same mistake across multiple reconciliations. You could see their access/activity log to know which clients you needed to review. Or if you simply needed to know every client the employee has touched in a certain timeframe.

  3. Add a custom column similar to a custom row into reports.

    This would be used to include quantities for livestock reports, for automating % of trust distributions payable to beneficiaries prior end of June.

    This currently can't be done in reports.

  4. Hi there,
    Absolutely loving the new 'hide' note function in the financial statement templates. This is a much appreciated update! Could we look into adding an option for certain notes to be hidden by default in the adviser report templates? The reason being, that our firm uses a standardised template that includes a number of accounting policy notes that may not be applicable for all entity types. Our current process was to delete the notes that were not relevant and there are a number of notes that are irrelevant more often than not. If we had the ability to hide…

  5. We're looking to add an indicator as to subscription ownership for the Xero HQ client list. This is just to say if the organisation is billed directly to the partner or if the partner is invited in and the client is responsible for the subscription.

    This will be crucial for the Spark and Helix rollout to help customers work through with their clients and get subscriptions updated. We also believe this could help with transitioning some organisations from being partner billed to direct billed which will increase revenue for Xero.

  6. Ask Queries - Automated reminders
    The ability to have automated reminders on Ask queries would save substantial time (and reduce likelihood of things getting forgotten) and reduce likelihood of having to go to an alternative paid app in order to get this functionality (eg ContentSnare)

  7. Be able to see the email body of the document pack that was sent or alternatively a copy of the document pack sent to the staff member who sent it to the client so that there is a record of what the email body contained.

  11. Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.

    Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

  14. Would be great if we have an option when all new clients are entered - all staff are added automatically as Advisors rather than Managed Client. It currently requires an administrator to go and edit permissions for every new client. Then if security is needed to protect certain client info it can be added by the administrator.

  15. I've just set up a salary sacrifice for a cycle to work scheme in payroll. However there isn't an end date in Xero so I have to manually diarise a date to stop the salary sacrifice for the employees. Please could a box be added to automate this.

Need to be able to better identify restricted / confidential clients and have controls in place to not give all staff access to these Xero blue files - currently we need to use manual methods (e.g. add "Restricted" in the client name, and add them to a "Restricted" client group), but this is highly prone to human error, and requires extra steps.

    Further, the new Single Client Record function will prevent us from adding "restricted" to the client record name.

    This function will need to incorporate the ability to filter out these confidential client ledgers when giving new staff access.

  18. It is not currently possible to use Report Fields in a group heading in reports.

    We spend time setting up shareholder and director names in Report Fields but they can only be used in text blocks, not group headings in reports. If we could use Report Fields in group headings we could make report templates, such as the schedule of shareholder current accounts, more dynamic and automatic. See the screenshot attached for an example.

When preparing the client's financial statements it would be useful if we could upload the accounting partner's signature (e.g. as a JPEG or TIF) into the compilation report before the financials are published. We have to edit the signing section each year to update the date so it would be good & more efficient if we could upload the signature at the same time.

    It would then carry forward when the draft financials of the following year are prepared.

    At the moment, we have to PDF the financials and then edit them to insert the signature. This is done every…

  20. Reports - Advisor Report functionality recommendations:
    1. Ability to add any report (including customized/saved/published reports) to Advisor report packages. I only see a limited selection of reports from the Add Report dropdown. I feel like I should be able to add any report I want.
    2. Ability to add separator pages easily (like "supplementary information" page) that don't have the company name/date in the header. This would also be useful for adding a letter / accountant's report on letterhead.
    3. Ability to customize the cover page for wording, layout, logo, etc.
