Hubdoc - Ability to upload and convert other file types to csv (e.g Lowe's and Home Depot)
Contractors use Lowe's and Home Depot credit. Can these statements be uploaded and converted to csv file for Xero?

Hubdoc - Allow additional settings for folders
I like how Hubdoc separates the data extraction to "Transaction Details" such as Supplier, Amount and Date. from "Destination Details" Such as Account code and contact..
We use Tags on the app to create Folders in hubdoc that organise team Expenses & Budgets.
It would be good to be able to set additional Folder/Tag settings in hubdoc that could over ride the Global Supplier settings in hubdoc when a tag is added.
Allowing for the Suppler to remain the same but the contact, Tax rate, account and tracking categories to be applied from the Tag/Folder settings.2 votes -
Hubdoc - Integrate with Google drive to upload invoices
It would be good if I could setup a google drive file/directory where we can drop invoices into it and they are automatically uploaded to Hubdoc. Other products do this but I would like to fully migrate

Hubdoc - Integrate with inventory & tracked items
There is currently no option for tracking inventory items on Hubdoc, aside from using the tracking categories. It is very laborious having to go into each transaction on Xero, after being published from Hubdoc, and select the Tracking Inventory items which in turn when selected changes the rest of the details on the line including the description originally filled into Hubdoc!
It would save a great amount of time to include this field in the Hubdoc 'Destination' window and for Hubdoc to retrieve the inventory Items from the company's Xero account in the same way as the 'contacts' and 'accounts'…

Hubdoc - Match and assign tracking from info captured in receipt
Search Receipts for tracking code. Tracking code is usually an address/ location/ or some key word about a product line. The list is known for each customer. Why can't the AI check for words matching the tracking code list and suggest the correct one.
Competitors can do this and have gone as far as blogging about the ML methods to do this.

Hubdoc - Extract description
Once the file is uploaded to Hubdoc, it effectively becomes a JPEG once at the review screen, this means you can not copy paste or grab contents from within the document and you will have to either open up the PDF on a separate screen or edit it within Xero.
It would be great if the description could also be extracted - OR allow the document to be copied/stay a PDF to be able to copy. This will reduce human errors when entering data. Thank you.

Hubdoc - Use 4 decimal places for Quantity & Price rounding
2 decimal places in Hubdoc is not enough. It must match Xero's 4 decimal places.
I have had to stop recommending Hubdoc to businesses that use item/inventory functions in Xero. Many businesses buy and sell products to the 4th decimal place. When you are dealing with large numbers 2 decimal places are significant. Users have become frustrated with having to do rounding line items and other fixes just to ensure the correct total price/quantity is captured in Xero.

Hubdoc - Notification when documents are uploaded
When a client uploads receipts, bank statements or other items to Hubdoc via the app or sends them by email, it would be nice to be notified at the end of each day if something was added. The accounting program that our office uses emails general email when items are uploaded into our portal. This is to ensure nothing is missed or overlooked.

Hubdoc |Clients - Indicate number of documents that need attention
We are starting to utilise the Xero email function to push PDF attachments through to files, to then either raise a bill or spend money.
For ease could it be possible to show the number of documents that need attention ie. Files (8) when we drop down on the client name?

Hubdoc - Extract commission and VAT payable from sales invoice
The ability to deal with purchase commission on a sales invoice
If you sell goods at an auction they will send you a sales invoice for the transaction with the bottom line being the net value (Sale of goods less any commission and vat payable to them). It would be helpful if Hubdoc could deal with this all in one transaction.1 vote -
Hubdoc - Ability to filter documents by the user that uploaded
There are quite a few filters on Hubdoc, but there isn't one to filter by the user that uploaded the document, we have quite a few employees that upload and process documents in Hubdoc, but they keep having to go through all the documents uploaded by other users to process their documents.
We would like a filter that allows you to filter by user.

Hubdoc - Untick 'Save configuration' check box by default
In the HubDoc there is a default setting with a checkbox always marked (active) for "save configuration".
A lot of mistakes are made because old text is saved and reused when it shouldn't.
It's better if there is no text instead of wrong text.
Therefore the default should be unchecked (off) for this "save configuration" checkbox because it causes a lot of problems when the wrong text is saved to XERO.
See the HubDoc screenshot attached for the "save configuration" checkbox I'm referring to.

Hubdoc: Submit purchase orders in Hubdoc to connect with purchase orders in Xero
Currently you cannot submit a purchase order in Hubdoc, there is no "publish as" option.
It would be good if it was an option and have it flow/link with purchase orders in Xero, to which then can flow into Approvalmax to be approved.
Currently it requires an employee to access another system which would be good to limit.9 votes -
Hubdoc - Replicate Xero HQ access in Hubdoc
Need a better user management/access experience in HubDoc. Currently the practice user who set up the Hubdoc account needs to invite all other practice users into the client. Would it be possible to merge the Hubdoc access into the Xero HQ access or replicate the HQ access system in HubDoc.

Hubdoc - Turned off foreign currency
Please can foreign currency be OPTIONAL and turned off?
Foreign currency has been added our file in error via an invoice from Hubdoc that was uploaded as USD. It has since been corrected to AUD and there are no foreign currency transactions in the ledger.
BUT - all reports annoyingly come up with all the 'source' columns. We don't want this to accidentally happen again when we are getting invoices from offshore software providers etc.

Hubdoc - Ability to re-order 'Document Type' list
Ability to re-order 'Document Type' list - to make it easier to select the type I use most often. (and not have to scroll down to get to 'credit memo'.
