A link between spouses to automatically update joint income so as to avoid posting the same information on each return and reduce the time spent on each return

Our previous update confirmed this was possible for users in Australia, however the bulk of this group is based in the UK, where this feature is not available.
As such, we'll be shifting this back to 'Submitted' to continue to collect votes around this feature in a UK Tax context.

Xero Tax - List of payments made to IRD
We would like to be able to run a listing of physical payments made to IRD by clients over a date range that shows the client name, IRD number, payment date recorded by IRD, tax type and the tax period/year that it was applied to.
This would enable us to easily identify when clients pay tax to the wrong period.

Contacts - export Customer list only
Be able to just export customers to excel not the whole contacts list. If not this then at least have a column so that I can filter out suppliers from the list.

Depreciation Schedule defaults - Add Columns by Default: Asset Number, Method, Rate, Purchased, Closing Accum Dep
So, with the old Depreciation Schedule disappearing, the new Depreciation Schedule is our go-to report. However, there are some columns that I wish were selected by default that were present in the "old" report that contain the details we need. Because these are not the default, I am having to set these columns to be present in EVERY client that I manage (and then save as a Custom Report).
I would like to see these columns added by default:
Asset Number
Purchased (ie: Purchase Date)
Method
Rate
Closing Accum DepAlso, do we really need the "Private Use Amount" column…

Practice Manager - Link Jobs to Workpapers
Integrate XWPS with XPM - The XPM job should allow us to enter the period start and end date and this should link to XWPS along with the Partner, manager and staff. We should then be able to go into XWPS directly from that job in XPM. This would reduce having to enter data (period and staff) twice on XPM and XWPS

Xero Tax (UK) - Increase the size of document to upload
When completing the CT600, the maximum size document you can attach is 1MB. This is not ideal especially when doing a R&D claim

AU Tax | Company Return - Pull Client ABN, ARBN Field
When doing a CTR for a client that has an ARBN. There is no ARBN field to enter this detail for our client.
Can you please create a ARBN field and for this to pull from the clients details onto the CTR - as per the attached screenshot of the CTR18 votes -
Xero Tax (AU) - Unlink M1 and IT8
M1 medicare levy reduction has an income test. IT8 for dependants does not. These 2 items are linked in Xero tax. Can you please unlink them.

Reports - Formatting Notes over many pages
When notes run over two pages - fix formatting so that if a note runs over two pages, it automatically creates a page break so that it appears together.
I understand there are already page breaks, but it is diffcult to know as each client is different what notes are requried and and such you need to export to PDF many, many times, before the formatting is correct.

Practice Manager | Client Reporting - 'Date Added' field
A 'Date Added' field would be great, to show when a client was entered into an XPM account.
It would also be good to add this as a client report criteria, so you can filter dates.

XPM - Add an Account Manager column to the client list
Can we please customise client page on XPM to add a column for the Account Manager. We currently see the Client NAME, PH NUMBER, and ADDRESS. Can we please add Account Manager to the page?
It would cut out a lot time when processing morning mail or directing phone calls from clients as this would mean we don't have to open the client file to see who they belong to.3 votes -
Practice Manager - Managed Fund Distribution Worksheet & Income Averaging
When there is a Managed Fund distribution on the prefill, the distribution is automatically entered into the Managed fund distribution worksheet. If there is no figure, it pulls through a $0.00 which leads to a $0.00 at the primary producer label L. This then automatically triggers the income averaging to which you manually have to OPT out of. Please fix this issue.

XPM - Add a Preferred Name for Trusts, as well as the Display Name
Have display name/preferred name field for trusts too. Some trusts have the same name. It will be good to be able to identify them from displayed name rather than having to go through the contacts or group page. We just need to put in a bracket at the back of their trust display name the group it belongs to.
Can have the actual entity name somewhere else.3 votes -
Practice Manager | Add Non-Clients for use in a Relationship
In XPM at the moment a Client is either "Active" or "Archived". The relationships function could be extremely powerful if we have the ability to add a "non client" in order to use them to define a relationship. For example, at the moment we can only add directors to a company where the directors are also clients. For us it means that our relationships are on average only 50% complete as on average only 50% of the related parties are also clients with us.

XPM Workpapers - Show account Review Point relates to in the section at the bottom of workpaper
Currently, if I am looking at a Workpaper and I click on the Flag next to an account, I can add a Review Point for that account.
That review point shows up in the list at the bottom of the workpaper.
If I click the flag next to the account, I can see the review points that have been added to that account... but I can't see the replies to those review points and nobody can reply to them from that area.
I have to scroll down to the bottom to reply to the review point.

Xero Tax - Import and export tax returns
It will be great if Xero tax can allow users to import & export to & from (from other tax software providers, i.e. HandiTax, MYOB etc.)

Reports - Customisable layout for PDF reports
Have the ability to create more than one report style (colour and logo) so when you export to a 'Styled PDF' there are choices beyond 'no styling' and your default.
