Maybe I'm missing something (integration settings perhaps) but if I enter a personal tax client's details into Xero HQ, then only some of this pushes into Xero Blue and I have to re-enter certain details like client code, email address etc as well as new fields such as sales defaults. Similarly, not all of the data pushes into Xero PM and the UTR/NI number have to be entered again. Is it not possible to have a Xero HQ as the single point of entry which then updates all fields in Xero PM and Xero Blue?

  5. Extend the information in Xero HQ to include full client data.
    Information that would be good to see on each client information schedule would be;

    a. VAT registration date, this is required for security with HRMC so needs to be in one place when contacting them.
    b. VAT quarters (We do have clients that don’t use xero and this information is important)
    c. PAYE registration details (Not all clients use Xero payroll and equally flicking between various clients bookkeeping systems when on the phone to HMRC is a bit irritating!)
    d. UTR details for companies
    e. Tax district for Both…

  7. Ability to export an invoice created in Xero business edition to a document pack.

    For example, if I prepare a BAS or tax return for a client and send it to them in a document pack along with my invoice, I have to export the invoice from Xero and save it, and then add it to the document pack.

    It would be beneficial if there was an option in the invoice screen to add the invoice to a document pack, similar to adding a completed tax return from Xero Tax to a document pack.

  8. It would be very handy to be able to create a formula in a custom report that could reference a group/custom row that sits within a closed group as sometimes you need these rows in order to drive the formula but they dont add any helpful information to the final report.

  11. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  12. When entering a number of invoices for the same customer or vendor it would be great not having to reenter the name for each entry. Recommend the ability to "pin" a name for multiple entries under the same name.

  13. We occasionally have issues when transferring Xero subscriptions with the notification being missed by the other party. Is it possible for the subscriber to receive an email when the transfer period is due to expire and the other party has not accepted?

  14. I know this is not critical for the reporting accuracy of Xero within, but it would be a great help to those who extract many times a report from Xero and have multiple clients handling. I hope Xero Support can find ways to be consistent in their naming convention by default. And not overriding names thru Report layouts. Thanks!

    Appreciate sharing your thoughts on date conventions used across reports in Xero, Danmark. While there's standardisation across the way dates are shown across Xero, there can be slight differences based on region, as well as the period being reflected.

    For example all regions excepting US will show date format as Date Month Year, where-as US will be formatted as Month Day, Year.

    When Xero reports for a general period like an entire month or year this is abbreviated to the shortest date format that represents that period e.g June 2025 or 2025 respectively, however when running a report for a singular 'as at' date the entire date is shown such as 13 June 2025.

    While I appreciate it doesn't mean a change to the formatting that you're requesting here, hopefully this sheds light on where date formatting may differ and gives more assurance that there's a structured approach to how…

  15. On the Employee Contact Details report it would be great to have a column to show the termination date and reason for termination. Being able to sort by termination date range eg last quarter would be beneficial to assist with preparing the long service leave reports. The termination date and reason needs to be included in the report. Having a summary of the information from Xero would be beneficial for all.

  16. Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.

    Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

  17. I feel like a dedicated feedback board would be useful. As I don't feel there is currently an appropriate place to give feedback and notify support of things that are not working properly.
    For example, I have the new GST returns to trial and there was an actual feedback box in Xero. Where i gave the feedback that i liked the new features but not the look.   18. We use multiple tax agent numbers across our business yet when we lodge STP reports via the client's organisation, we can only use one tax agent number for all clients as Xero only allows for one tax agent number to be set in Xero HQ.

    This is causing many issues, including staff and clients inadvertently updating tax agent details in the STP lodgment area on their own file, which is then updating the tax agent in HQ for all STP lodgements.

  19. Hi,

    For the Profit and Loss data (Revenue/ Expense/ Net Profit), should be an option to select last month as currently it's bringing up mid month data and comparing with full month information (ie. running the report 20th October and comparing with either full month Sep 2024 or full month October 2024. A lot of clients invoice end of month or after month end so adds little comparison value.

    For Cash Balances, ability to select which bank accounts are displayed might be worth considering. Currently showing loans, which skews the information into negative.

  20. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.
