XPM - Default staff checkbox as ticked when allocated to a job
After the recent XPM change where a user can allocate staff to multiple jobs from the Jobs menu, the staff at the Task level are added but the checkbox is not ticked. This means that the staff member can see the job in their timesheet, but not the tasks associated with that job, so cannot book time.
Support have advised they are aware this has changed and do not have a solution to get around this currently, other than manually going into each job and filling the tick box for each staff member for each task. As we create and…

Practice Manager - Make WIP Ledger Write On Amount available in the API
It would be ideal if the "Write On Amount" fields in WIP Ledger reporting within XPM are made available in the API. We leverage multiple systems that need to tack together a formula to measure write offs using the available fields in the API, or cannot include Write On information, so is often inaccurate.

In XPM the client access options under staff permissions includes View, Edit, Create and Delete. Please also add Archive as an option.

Projects - Assign multiple tasks to employees
In the last week the ability to add multiple tasks to new employees has been taken away, you can still add all jobs but without the ability to add all tasks or some as well that feature is now useless.
please can you tell me why this has been removed and bring it back asap. I have staff unable to complete time sheets at the moment.

leads - Existing activities to auto allocate to owner
When we set up a new lead and allocate it to an owner, the activities should auto allocate to the owner, instead it is setting to the responsibility of the admin person setting up the lead resulting in additional time taken to reallocate each of the the activities causing unnessary time consumption

XPM - Include task start and due dates in job imports.
As XPM integrates with FYI workflow, and you can toggle between viewing a workflow by jobs or by task, it would be a massive help if when importing annual compliance job templates with pre-defined tasks, you can define the task start and due date as part of the import and not have to individually go through and update these once the jobs have deployed.

Billable Expenses - Feature to flow through to XPM Clients
It would be great if there was a link between the billable expenses in Xero and XPM that would allow for billable expenses assigned to a client to be created as a cost in XPM. We currently add these manually as a cost on the job.

XPM | AU Tax - Automatically email lodgment confirmation to clients
I'd love to have the ability to get XPM to email clients once their returns are lodged to confirmed it has been done. So many clients ask for confirmation and emailing each one takes time, a simple email from xero would be great.

Xero Tax(AU) - Edit cover letter
Hopefully there will be an editable field / automatic tick box in the Cover Letter for the Tax Returns where the Trustee for the Trust is a Company (Corporate Trustee) where we can put the name/s of the client in the Salutation and not the Corporate Trustee. Our tax returns would show "Dear Company Name" which sounds / looks wrong instead of "Dear Individual Name"

AU Tax | Company Return - Pull Client ABN, ARBN Field
When doing a CTR for a client that has an ARBN. There is no ARBN field to enter this detail for our client.
Can you please create a ARBN field and for this to pull from the clients details onto the CTR - as per the attached screenshot of the CTR19 votes -

We wish we could use different sequence numbers for each branch and each department in one organisation.

XPM - Filter deleted clients
It would be good to filter deleted clients like we can for archived clients on XPM custom reports. At the moment they display on the Income Tax report that compares clients with the ATO list and there is no way to filter them out. It makes finding clients who have dropped off the ATO list difficult.

Practice Manager - Add Relationship type
It would be fantastic if we could add another Relationship type in XPM, namely 'Unitholder' so we could link the unitholders and their holdings with the Unit Trust.

While this is an idea our team have their eyes on, we want to be upfront that it's not something we have planned atm. We'll keep you informed if there's any progress to share on this, here.

XPM - Flag clients
Is there a way to flag a client, ie Warning/Ban or make them Inactive but keep their history in Xero?
We have a system that have a number of clients with similar/identical names and we would like flag a client for particular reason, ie account terms etc or ban etc.

Reporting - Financial Statement / Mapping Report
Will there be something developed (in the works) on sharing the mapping report with clients, so they know which codes are lumped together in the P&L and Balance Sheet? This seems to be a common inefficiency where they ask the question and we have to break down each code and manually provide the info, as they don't have access to our reporting templates / edit layout function. Practice Manager - Housekeeping (Assisted PII data removal for archived clients)
From what I understand is common in a lot of firms is when a client leaves/dies/etc their client profile is archived in XPM and the data persists into infinity.
Given the latest high profile data breaches is would be good if XPM had a Housekeeping module where firms could identify archived clients where the attached Personally Identifiable Information (In particular TFN, Bank account, phone/mobile and addresses) is no longer needed and permanently remove it in a structured process.
A similar process may need to be created for the forms that we generate from XPM so they they are permanently removed…

Practice Manager | Report - Client Search
the function to search for clients needs to be easier (similar to the search function) when you are trying to run reports in XPM. It is tiring to go through 3,000 clients on a list to select the one I want to view as the function to run reports only allows me to type the first initial.

XPM - Report of Clients who DON'T have a certain Job Template
Reporting on XPM - I need to run a report from XPM that shows me ALL our clients who haven't had a job booked in yet showing the name "2023" so I can then chase them for checklists.
I can't see how to run a report that shows this. I really don't want to have to run multiple reports and compare things off - with over 1200 clients this takes an awful long time.
There has to be a simpler way.

Xero Practice Manager - Bulk unlock or lock of timesheets
We have a large volume of staff (over 50) so being able to submit timesheets which come across from FYI after we have completed our pay runs in bulk would be ideal.
In the same vein, being able to bulk update timesheet lines which may contain the same error would also be handy.
