  2. It would be great if there was some automatic notification to the client/job manager that a draft invoice has been raised and is awaiting approval.

    Probably just one email per day so they are not being spammed!

  3. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  4. We have staff that need to see who the biller client is for a group however we do not want them being able to see staff timesheets.

    We would like the Access Financial data tab broken up to enable staff to see the billing client.

  5. XPM Timesheets/Timeclock - The ability for the saved time to be ordered from the most recent time to the first time entries of the day so you can quickly see when you last entered time, as a start point. This saves a whole lot of scrolling if you have a lot of entries for the day.

  6. Account number to be synced to XPM from Xero. This unique account number/code is very useful and would be great to be automatically synced. Further, if, just like in Xero, it is a set field in XPM that notifies you when you are duplicating a code that has already been used for another client.

  7. Timesheet view and function similar to outlook calendar. Where it shows your timesheet entries like meetings on your calendar.

    1. It would be quick and easy to identify gaps you are missing
    2. Being able to drag them to extend or reduce entries
    3. Being able to copy and paste an entry. Make for faster input.

  8. To enable employees to add quantities for ordinary hours PLUS quantities for bonus line items in their timesheets - this functionality was previously available. Employees previously were able to be able to submit timesheets with both ordinary hours PLUS bonuses. Now we have to manually enter bonuses.

  9. Provide an option under the client group to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group with one invoice.

    At the moment it appears this can only be done under Invoices in the Business menu. Under the client group itself, while an invoice can be created for multiple jobs for one client, you can't create a single invoice to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group.

  11. The 3.1 version of the API only gives UUIDs instead of numeric IDs. I would like to see all URLs on the website accept either UUID or numeric ID. This already seems to be partially supported, but I would like to see full parity with numeric IDs and UUIDs.
     
    E.g. When viewing a client, the url is:
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Client/{NUMERIC_ID}/Detail
    but the website will handle a uuid here too
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Client/{UUID}/Detail

    Similarly for a job
    https://app.practicemanager.xero.com/job/jobview.aspx?id={NUMERIC_ID}
    https://app.practicemanager.xero.com/job/jobview.aspx?uuid={UUID}

    But unfortunately viewing a group is only possible with numeric ID
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Group/{NUMERIC_ID}/Members
    but not as
    https://practicemanager.xero.com/Group/{UUID}/Members

In MYOB, we had individuals as well as partnerships and trusts (which names included surnames of the associated individuals) set up in surname order, which would allow the clients to be sorted, filtered and exported to various lists or worksheets in that order and make it easy to compare/pick up other fields that should be the same for the group/family members (like addresses, emails for tax notices etc). In Xero, however, the names are sorted by the Name* (for entities) or Display Name* (for individuals) - the fields which we only want to be used as display names on the…

  15. Help business owners and team leaders easily identify where staff have submitted time for a week that is less than their capacity. That could be something on the dashboard or a report. XPM currently allows a staff member timesheet to be submitted without any warning that it is below the capacity amount. I shouldn't need to manually review and compare to the different capacity hours for full time and part time staff.

  17. Per the attached screenshots, it would significantly increase efficiency to be able to use quick keyboard shortcuts when entering timesheets. Specifically the + and SAVE buttons, as almost everything else can be entered using the keyboard alone.

  18. We are finding staff are regularly being logged out of XPM when they move between the 'Clients' tab & the 'Jobs' tab. When this happens it asks staff to log back in, but we are finding it is taking them to random different areas of XPM instead of back to where they were. i.e Setting up a new organisation page, in the middle of a client file etc. This appears to be a basic functionality issue that needs to be fixed.

  19. I have just learned that XPM does not connect to Outlook and thus Client data is not synced. I thought this would be the most important information to sync with outlook, Afterall clients are who accountants communicate with most.

  20. I love the new Job Manager view where you can hide or show columns as you need. I would LOVE a column for comments. For example say a job is waiting for a client to send a particular document I'd love to be able to add that in that view. Or maybe that field could show the latest note made in that job. It woudl save us having to click into the job to see what was holding it up.

    Hi community, thanks for your input in this idea. A comment field in Job Manager is something that our product team would like to explore, however there are other items that need their attention at this time.
