  1. I HATE the new split screen when reviewing documents in the FILE INBOX. Please reinstate the overlay. To review the document requires multiple enlarging and panning of the document, this is a very cumbersome process. Please add an option so that the user can choose between 'overlay' or 'split screen'

    We introduced the split screen based on strong demand from many users who found it improved their workflow. However, we understand it doesn’t suit everyone’s preferences, and your feedback is important to us. We’ll continue to monitor input like yours as we consider future improvements.

  2. Easy way to see total money spend or money received for a contact for a set date range (year to date, this month, custom range). Ideally, be able to track this vs other contacts in the dashboard, eg, highest spending customer, most important suppliers etc. All the data is there but currently requires creating a report or exporting to a spreadsheet which is counterproductive. Really surprised it’s not a feature already to be honest as I was doing this in spreadsheets before migrating into Xero.

    Hi Adam, thanks for sharing this idea. We appreciate you explaining how contact spend and revenue analytics could help track key business relationships more efficiently.

    ⭐️ While we don’t currently have a dashboard view for this, you could run reports like Contact Transactions Summary, Contact Cash Activity, Customer Invoice Activity or Supplier Bill Activity, and compare results using Income and Expenses by Contact. Another important thing to note, spend & receive money vs bills & invoices are different types of transactions. If you require further assistance with this please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team. Make sure you reference this idea when you do! ☺️

  3. Will Hubdoc functionality be enhanced? It feels so far behind and is getting difficult to justify not switching to a better alternative. Here are a few improvements I'd like to see:

    • Increasing the upload limit for receipts via the mobile app
    • Adding the ability to publish documents directly from the mobile app
    • Improving the matching process for repeating bills
    • Enabling the publication of receive money transactions
    • Enhancing the search functionality to show document locations
    • Adding the ability to copy text within documents without first having to download them
    • Adding the ability to merge documents

    Thanks for sharing your suggestions. We’ve reviewed them and classified this as feedback because much of what you’ve raised relates to existing Hubdoc functionality or clarifications on how certain features work today.

    Some of your points are already supported, such as merging supplier folders, identifying where documents are stored in the desktop app, publishing receipts to Xero using Spend Money, and uploading multiple documents in the mobile app.

    You’ve also highlighted a few potential enhancements that would be best shared as separate ideas, so they can be individually voted on and discussed by the community. These include publishing documents from the mobile app, copying OCR text within the document viewer, and improving matching for repeating bills.

    Splitting these into individual ideas will help ensure each suggestion gets clear visibility and the right level of community support.

  4. When adding new contacts, we are forced to have the Country added. 100% of contacts we enter this is manually removed. This should not be necessary as I feel a majority of used would only be sending (If Posting) items to the country they are in.

    Maybe this could be changed to either NOT included or included? Or just not included at all.

  5. The new inbox removed the 'download' option from the kebab on each line of the list of files. The only way now to download a file without using a mouse is to tab to the right spot to open the new preview pane, then either tab all the way to the bottom of the list plus 5 more tabs to get to the download button OR reverse tab similarly large numbers of times to get to the download button via all the menu bar items, then press enter (space doesn't activate this button). This is not Accessible.
