Contacts - Ability to add to Group when creating contact
To be able to add a new contact to a group from edit contact
Currently you can only add group from the main Contacts page
Also to see which group contact is in from the customer profile

Thanks for sharing your idea it seems that having a Group option to select when creating a new contact is something that yo would really like to see. We appreciate the time taken to raise this, this option would also allow you to see which Group the contact is in from the contact record.
