Thanks for your continued engagement and valuable feedback on this long-standing idea, everyone. We've been carefully reviewing your comments and want to acknowledge the clear sentiment of frustration regarding the current limitations around managing multiple addresses for contacts, particularly for invoicing and delivery purposes, and that this is a critical feature to many of you.

We want to share an update on our progress here - We're pleased to confirm that the foundational work for handling multiple addresses has been completed within the Contacts area of Xero. This was a crucial first step. Building on this, now that all customers are on the new invoicing experience our product team has moved into the discovery phase for adding multiple addresses directly within invoicing. This means they are actively exploring the best way to implement this functionality to meet your needs effectively.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the complexities…

Now your developer team has rebuilt the delivery address functionality on purchase orders, can we essentially have this identical functionality on contacts please?

We critically need to be able to save more than one delivery address on a contact, or at lease be able to use a one off address which doesn’t change the delivery address across 100+ other invoices for our customers.

Serious limitation, I hope Xero are actually taking this seriously as it has been marked as ‘in development’ for over *3 years* now!

Pretty sure most of us could learn to code, get a job at Xero and fix it ourselves in that timeframe!

Great... So *another* Xero price increase, and still no update on this extremely basic feature?

I remember Sage waaaay back in the 90's on an MS Dos computer had this functionality!

Simply unacceptable, as usual, from Xero.

@Stuart Wili good idea, worth a shout to get messages directly through to her on LinkedIn - I doubt this thread is monitored by Xero in the same way which we get email notifications on each reply…

How is this feature taking so long to implement?!
It's really very critical for any business which provides physical goods...

If there's some sort of difficulty in implementing this fully, how about Xero adds a field where a one-time use address can be added on a per-invoice basis?

If we can specify different delivery addresses on purchase orders, (as we're expected to need multiple delivery addresses), why is it so hard to have a similar feature on invoices, (as if customers are only allowed to operate from one location)..?

Please Xero, listen to your customers, Just. Get. It. Sorted.

Do you have any update on this at all please, as it's been a long old while since last one?

This is a pretty critical function, which seems to be available in most competitor products.

We sell to a number of clients who need delivery to many different end customers each, so without this function we are having to make use of a number of frustrating workarounds.

    Please update.
