Hi everyone, we know that consolidated reporting for multiple Xero organisations is a feature many of you are invested in, and we appreciate you continuing to share your feedback and insights on this idea.
We hear that you need a more streamlined way to manage group budgeting, produce consolidated Profit and Loss reports, and handle intercompany transactions without the need for manual exports and external spreadsheets.
For those looking for solutions right now - As shared by others there are Xero app partners that possibly serve these and wider needs, and you can explore on our Xero App store.
We want to be transparent about the current state of this idea. While we continuously evaluate all ideas, work on developing consolidated reporting is not currently planned.
We know this isn't the news many of you hoped for, especially given how long this idea has been on the platform. We value…

Hi community, your ongoing interest in giving users the ability to reconcile without viewing account balances is welcomed.
We understand why this level of bank permission control matters. As recently mentioned in my updates on this idea, while we do have current work for user roles underway there is more complexities to developing permissions within the banking space and this isn't on the immediate roadmap.
As we continue our journey to evolving roles within Xero we'll be sure to share any progress for permissions in bank accounts with you all, here.

This one is critical for our business. We need staff To be able to do reconciliations and coding to projects or tracking without seeing the company overheads or bank balance.
I’ve seen a lot of people asking for this. There needs to be more user permissions

Hey everyone, we've been following the conversation closely and we want to acknowledge how important this is for many of you.
Atm, we’re on a long journey to provide more controls within Xero features that our customers need. Being such a broad idea that touches many areas of our platform, we’d like to encourage adding your votes to specific user permissions that matter most to you, such as:
- Bank Accounts: For more control over who can see bank account balances and access specific accounts, please see the idea here: User Role - Restrict access to individual bank accounts
- Sales and Invoicing: If you’d like to see changes to permissions around sales reporting and editing invoice templates, you can follow that conversation here: User roles: Restrict access to Invoice Settings
- Reports: To have your say on restricting access to specific reports, the relevant idea is here: User permissions - Assign user…

User to be able to see all transactions, invoices and bills, tracking categories, P&L, but not bank balance or balance sheet.
The idea this employee can help the accountant with payments and invoices to make sure they are in the right chart of accounts and tracking code. But they are too junior to see the companies bank account balance. An error occurred while saving the comment

We need an employee who runs lots of budget accounts to be able to log in and see what is spent in cost of sales under all the different tracking codes.
This would help them organise the budgets better and see what is spent and what is outstanding.
They don’t need to see sales or overheads or bank feeds. They should also be able to set a budget for that tracking code if possible.

Consolidating various xero company accounts into one "consolidated parent company" business reporting feature.
We are a start up, but have one parent company with many subsidiaries. Consolidating 7 companies into one cash flow, one balance sheet and one P&L is time consuming and difficult to do. Having this built into Xero would save an enormous amount of time for us. Other accounting softwares have this tool, and it would be great if XERO could look at developing this mechanism
