Hi everyone, we understand you'd like more consistency in the documents you send from Xero and appreciate all your feedback on Remittance customisation here. While we have longer terms intentions to improve branding across Xero, this is not roadmapped for development at present.
We'll continue to stay connected to the idea here and engage to share when there is opportunity to develop in this space.

This is a simple update that we have been waiting to be applied in Xero for 10 years now! We have also been a customer of Xero for 10 years and have also waited this long for this very simple addition of a docx Remittance addition, something of which would take a developer no time at all to implement the relevant fields into the background system and even less to design a simple docx remittance template pulling out the relevant data fields and implement this into the current Xero branding interface.
A remittance is a major part of every day general transactions to most users in the Xero platform and the current accessible “standard” remittance branding is ugly and clunky and frankly embarrassing to have to keep onsending as part of our everyday transactions to our clients. No amount of formatting can make it look in any way presentable and is not consistent with any other customisable branding product we use also daily such as statements, invoicing, quotes etc.
This particular ideas/suggestion feed dates back to 2015! 10 years with Xero users requesting the most simplest of branding additions who send remittances every day to multiple entities.
Whilst a longer long term whole branding refresh may be in the pipeline, this is a simple addition to enable consistency across the current existing branding theme of Xero for all users.
Consistent simple branding accessibility I would have thought would be part of the very foundation of the Xero platform.
Xero, please implement this simple addition so many users who have requesting this for YEARS can have access to consistent branding across their companies.
