Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the possible solution we shared a few months ago. After careful consideration taking all feedback on board, we will not be moving forward with this solution.
We're still considering how we might solve for the issues presented here over the long term and there are other pieces of work the team are currently delving into such as duplicate bills detection that may also help solve some needs here.
That said, we'll move the idea back to Submitted and continue to keep you updated on any progression that can help the needs expressed through the idea here. Thanks

Hi community, first off thank you for the continued interest and feedback surrounding this idea. We’re continuing to build on the bank reconciliation experience in Xero and recognise the ways this feature will help improve the efficiency, flexibility and transparency of transactions in your business. Our team have done a lot of exploration into being able to surface and match Credit Notes when reconciling your bank account in Xero, and this is now in development.
We’ll shift the idea here into ‘Working on it’ and continue to update as there’s more detail of this to share.

An error occurred while saving the comment Aleshia Rex commentedHaving the option to apply a bank rule to any transaction as a one off even when it doesn't automatically meet the requirements for the rule.
It would mean that the random one off payments don't need adding to the rule but you can just apply the coding to it.
E.G having a "software" rule in place for ongoing subscriptions but then the client buys something as a one off - Simply apply "Software" rule to this transaction.
Or a transaction that already has a rule comes through with slightly different details meaning it wont automatically apply the rule - Go to a drop down menu and apply said rule to the transaction.

Hi team, though we appreciate the use you'd find in being able to connect or send Xero Files to your cloud storage we want to be open that this isn't in our short terms plans.
We're keen to keep getting an understanding of interest in the capability, and will share if there are any updates or progress of this, here.

Currently you can only download Xero files one by one and you cannot sync this with HubDoc. I am currently in the predicament when a client has accidently uploaded hundreds of receipts to Files not Hubdoc and I have to tediously download each one!
Hubdoc has a "Push to Files" option, why not have it work both ways

Agreed, Pro Forma should be an option. I feel it should be under the save option - "Save as Pro Forma"
Its not good enough to come up with a "work around" to use a standard business function - if a business already uses Quotes as part of their invoicing process you can't even use the below work around and have to use the Draft invoice status to make a pro forma.
Seems like such a small middle step between quote and invoice.
