Appreciate your feedback on the idea here. As a grounds to start from we thought it would help to confirm;
- There is a two way sync of your clients between Practice Manager and your practice Xero organisation Contacts
- The sync between XPM and your practice Xero organisation contacts is different - we’ve explained this more below
Differences between Xero Practice Manager(XPM) and your practice Xero organisation sync
- Client will sync with your organisation’s Contacts depending on your Xero connection setup - more on Xero Central
- This is controlled by users with the Administrator role and can be set to ‘Never’, ‘Only when uploading invoices’ or ‘Every time client or supplier details are updated’

At present in XPM when a client contacts us to update the email address that Tax Notices or Invoices go to, we end up with different people updating different places, as there is no clear easy way to tell which emails do what.
We end up with people sending emails to admin asking to update, which creates unnecessary communication.
It would be great if you could have multiple email address fields within the CLIENT (not the contact/s) with clarity on what those emails do. EG:
*Tax Email (links to the tax notices)
*Billing Email (syncs to Blue xero for billing)
*Contact Email
Or similar. And allow multiple email addresses in each field separated by a semi-colon (this has been addressed in other threads).
A competitor product offers this system and it was so much easier to keep addresses updated and consistent.
