Is there a specific element / field of the transactions that you're trying to search by?
Currently there are a range of details that you can search by and Xero will return results for transactions that have been entered in your org (reconciled or unreconciled)

An error occurred while saving the comment Ann Daniels commentedClient requires this for tax invoices allocated to government offices to align with their accounts payable. Without this it will mean manually having to scan the 2 items and amalgamate rather then just having the automatic option. This will save them time and be more efficient.

Hi everyone, a year on from my last engagement we wanted to provide an update for you all here.
As many will be across we're in the midst of making a lot of iterations and improvements to new invoicing leading up to the retirement of classic invoicing in September (2024).
We have a fair amount of work lined up in the teams schedule over the coming months and to give an indication there isn't any committed plans around a function to add interest to invoices.
That said, we do have a team that have picked up and are considering how we might solve this with the technology in new invoicing - It's early days on this yet, but I'll share if there's any progress on this for you all here.
In the meantime, as has been shared by others over time there are a few ways you could accomplish this…

I agree with this option being looked at as we have a client that has 6 bank accounts and we need to search in each of these bank accounts for transactions and it would be great to be able to utilise the universal search for the unreconciled items. Would be a major assistance. The current universal search assists us with general items and is fantastic to use....just would be better if the uncoded items also appeared in the results.
