Hi Terry, it's great to hear your idea on how to make the dashboard work harder for you! Having your key reports front and center would make it more accessible.
Right now, jumping into the full reports menu multiple times a day can feel a bit repetitive, especially when you rely on certain custom reports.
For now, you can use the “Starring” feature in the Reports center. Star your favourites and they’ll appear at the top of the Reporting menu for quicker access. Some users also find it handy to bookmark report URLs in their browser for instant access.
This idea is now Gaining Support, so the product team can see how much interest there is in more dashboard customisation.

Appreciate the feedback, Andreas. Good to hear the different sections that would be handy to you from the homepage.
This isn't somethign we have plans for right now, but will start to gather interest in from the community here.

Hi everyone, thanks for all your feedback. We understand how important customisable payroll access is for many of our customers to effectively run their business. As you may have seen in other parts of Xero (like inventory & reporting) we’re beginning to develop more granular controls for permissions in some areas.
While we’ll continue to consider how we develop access to other features across Xero, we want to be upfront here that we don’t have any plans for providing the ability to disable access to timesheets or leave through the Xero Me app.
With this in mind, we’ll move this idea to Not in pipeline. You’ll see there are other ideas surrounding Payroll permissions that may solve for what you’d be after in this idea, and I’d recommend adding your vote to those so we can share if there’s any progress toward that functionality as we keep developing.

Critical as leave and rostering is managed outside Xero. We don't need this element, and having it onscreen confuses employees. But we do need an app for staff to manage bank/super/payslip downloads

Agree, love the onboarding concept but do NOT want employees to request leave/book availability via an app. Can that feature be turned off.?
We need to understand how it looks for the business efficiency.
We use an industry rostering app and don't need to make it more complex.
