Thanks for the continued support and feedback shared here, everyone. Totally appreciate wanting to save clicks and improve the efficiency of logging in to use Xero.

Our product team have reviewed this and it's something they'd like to take a closer look into longer term, however isn't roadmapped just yet.

As soon as there's any progress to update you of I will share with you all.

I log in and out of Xero dozens of times daily. the little square "Trust this device ticked" never works. Every time I need to log in, I need to go through the process again and again, email, password, authentication.
What I found really annoying and impractical is after keying in the password, the next screen is the authenticator code, if I do not take the mouse and point out into the authentication box, the numbers keyed in goes anywhere. This should be automated as MYOB and QuickBooks, BGL360, CAS360 have and many other accounting softwares. This will save me to watch the screen, I am a fast keyboard processor and this is very annoying.

Hi Christine, just making sure I understand what you'd like to see here. Would this be to sort all organisations you have access to from your My Xero page ordered by the # of unreconciled items ?

Thanks for sharing this idea about choosing a default landing organisation, for when you first log into Xero.

We've reviewed this suggestion, and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit, so they can add their votes and comments about how this would help them, too!

Hi everyone, we've been tracking this idea for some years now and truly value all the feedback we've heard on the desire and time saving reducing the manual steps in reconciliation

would achieve. We completely get wanting to skip that extra ‘OK’ click when you trust the suggested matches.

We’re excited to share that this idea is now in development. At Xerocon this year we shared automated bank reconciliation - Using JAX to automatically match and categorise your bank transactions with your Xero transactions.😊

It's in beta already and being tested by a small group of users atm, and as soon as we have more to share on this rolling out wider I'll give you another update here. Thanks again for helping us shape the future of Xero!

I faced a very time-consuming task after migrating the data from MYOB to Xero through JetConvert. Although the bank transactions were properly processed in MYOB and reconciled in the bank before conversion. The same transactions converted into Xero had an unreconciled status. The bank balances were not matching at all. I couldn't find a solution than going one by one, clicking the column "unreconciled", go to Options, click reconciled and go back to the same screen. The number of transactions were about 400 and 2000 transactions per client. I migrated 10 clients in one shot. I did not expect this extra task so time-consuming. Can you develop a reconcile bulk transactions? JetConvert did not leave the file ready to continue working on it. I feel very frustrated with such repetitive and necessary task.

Hey everyone! It's been insightful reading through your comments on filtering payroll reports by both first and last name.

Our product team have reviewed this idea and agree it's an idea they would like to develop, but it isn't currently on the roadmap.

In the meantime, as mentioned by some of you you'll need to export the data to work with outside of Xero. We understand this may be an extra step and appreciate this feature could improve efficiency for a variety of situations.

We'll keep you updated as things progress. Your continued input helps us understand the priority and impact of features like this one.

Hi everyone, thanks for your continued feedback about managing working patterns for part-time employees.

We’re pleased to share that we plan to begin rolling out working patterns in AU Payroll later this year.

The first release will allow you to set a one-week work pattern for each employee. This pattern will automatically be used for leave and public holiday calculations in the pay run. At this stage, you’ll still need to update the employee’s pay template separately to reflect their standard working hours.

We plan to build on this foundation by connecting working patterns with standard hours in the pay run and supporting a broader range of working patterns. We’ll share more details as the first release gets closer.
