Hi community, we appreciate this idea has collected a fair amount of votes and commentary. This has all been shared with, and considered by, our product team - so they have an understanding of the work that would be required for this.
We'd like to confirm that, at this stage, the automatic generation and sending of reports is not something we have plans to develop in the near term. We are still interested to get a clearer understanding of demand for this feature, and we'll continue to track this through the conversation and votes on this idea. If there's any change we will let you know!

Hi Emily, it sounds like you could use batch deposit here. This is available from the Awaiting payments list like you noted and will allow you to to record multiple invoices as paid in a single transaction.
It can be useful if you’re banking one deposit for multiple invoices, or when a customer makes a single payment for multiple invoices. 😊
Does this solve what you're after?

Hi community, thank you for your engagement and sharing how you'd like us to evolve roles for customers using Xero. User roles impact all areas of the product, there are many considerations we must factor in when assessing how to solve for majority of our customers needs - As you can see there is a large range of ideas for different roles shared by customers in Product Ideas.

An error occurred while saving the comment Alen Loncarevic commentedAn important part of many businesses's is confidentiality. Although everyone is working in the same organisation it is important that each user has access to certain things within their own roles. Quickbooks has done a great job at this and I was shocked to see the little options xero offers.
Most important in my opinion is not allowing users to see everything.
The sales user allows someone to make invoices, view all contacts and receive payments. I want my salesman to only create invoices and not see any purchases, who we are Purchasing from and definitely not receive a payment.
A salesman can make an invoice in person, receive a customers payment in full and then go back to the invoice and edit it to remove items. This leaves an organisation extremely exposed to bad actors.
There should be an option to have a user only make invoices and or approve invoices without being able to receive payments and also the option of not seeing "Suppliers". In xero it auto sorts the contacts as customers and suppliers. its good but not good in this case.

We should be able to customize our packing slips the same way we can invoices, quotes and other documents. Many business's use packing slips to hide the value of merchandise and services from truckers and others who pick up merchandise. Its an added step of privacy, some people may want custom writing on their packing slip as they do their invoice. This is not a current option and is extremely important
