Hi team, appreciate the interest and clarification that we've received through this idea fro customers.

Right now adding additional placeholders to email templates isn't in our short term plans but we're continuing to follow the interest of this here.

For the time being I know not the 'set and forget' solution you're after here - you can edit the default email to add the Contact Account Number before sending the invoice.

We'll share if there are any updates for you here.

Please seriously reconsider your decision not to prioritise this. It's been on your customer requested list for over three years now. The ability to automatically including client code in both the subject and the body of bulk/automatic emails is very important these days. AML/CTF mandatory changes to internal processes is really making efficiency in client communication very important and to assist that this information is important in email communications.

Cyber security audit - The ability to add the contacts account number (aka our client reference for a client) to both the subject line and in the body of all email templates is now super important - almost critical - these days as an assistance to clients to verify that the email is a legitimate email especially for Xero users like us who do not have a dedicated email account with Xero. This deficient has been identified as part of our cyber security audit. Another item on a similar topic is the inability for us to include our full company logo including our contact details and tag line in the emails that are sent to clients via Xero.

Hiya community, thanks for the feedback we received from our last update. This aided in the teams refinement of this work.

I'm pleased to share that this has progressed and our product team are well into development to provide the ability for Payroll admins to view an employees available leave balance for the period the employee's requesting.

We appreciate the importance of this visibility to enable businesses to make more informed decisions when approving leave.

We're going to start rolling this out very soon, and I'll be back to share when it's fully released along with more details of where and what this looks like.

Thanks everyone for your feedback on the invoice print option. We know how much our customers value efficient workflows, and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on how the current "Print PDF" button works.

For those of you looking for a smoother printing experience, a helpful workaround is to set your browser to automatically open PDFs in your preferred viewer after downloading. This can save you a few clicks in the process.

In the interest of transparency, a direct print PDF functionality that go through the download step isn't in our development plans.

You can continue to vote on this idea so if our position changes in the future we will update you all, here.
