Hi Kirstie
Thanks for sharing this idea about setting future prices for inventory items.
It's now up to the community to get behind and support your idea. Other members can now add their votes and comments about how this could also benefit them.
In the meantime, you'd need to edit the price at the relevant date, either manually or by exporting and importing your items if you need to update lots of prices at the same time.

Thanks for sharing this here Paolo. We understand that a lot goes on between when the purchase order is created and fulfilled. At the moment, while there are no extra statuses, you can use tracking categories if you're not using them already. You can fill in the first tracking category as Collected by courier etc and the other tracking category would be delivered to the customer. While this is just a suggestion, we will open this idea up to the community to gain more support. Cheers

Hi everyone, development for being able to partially bill / part receive purchase orders is well underway. The intention is when you create a bill from a purchase order you'll be able to enter the amounts of each item you'd like to bill.
On your Approved purchase order you'll also be able to view amount of items Billed.
We look forward to updating you again as soon as this feature launches. 😁

Hi team, work for negative inventory is well in development and we really value all of your inputs here as we've picked into how we solve the needs of backorders in both the purchase and sales flows.
We look forward to being able to share more updates soon with detail of how this works within your Xero organisation. Thanks!

Hi team, we appreciate interest and why you may want to copy documents from a source transaction when creating a bill.
We want to be open that this isn't something we have immediate plans for developing. For the time being we will continue to watch the support this idea builds closely here. If there is any progress we'll be sure to let you know

I have been using XERO for over 3 years and inventory is the the biggest issue the system has. Users should not have to beg for some fairly basic functionality in the inventory system, especially as XIP is already available in one market then switch it on for others. Inventory is a key part of my business and that the fields and associated functionality are so limited is unacceptable for a business the scale of XERO.
