Thanks for sharing this idea. We’re going to move it to Gaining Support so we can better understand how much interest there is from others who would also find this useful. If this is something more customers would value, that support will help show the demand for adding a project start date and allowing projects to be sorted by date rather than name 🙂.

Hi, just a quick update on this.
Although the mobile app doesn't have this feature right now, feel free to share this idea with any colleagues that this could also benefit. They can add their votes and comments about how this would help them, too.

I just downloaded the app to try (I usually use Xero on laptop). The app seems not very worthwhile if it doesn’t have this simple feature.

Yes! this seems like an easy fix that would make reporting so much easier. For example I need to create a subcontractors report per project each month - at the moment very time consuming, could be easily fixed with the ability to filter reports by project.
