Hi Sally, appreciate the image back to the earlier update you're referring to here. Is it possible that the custom report you're using was saved prior to the update and needs updating with any new setting changes and then saving again to hold these for future use?

If you're still finding the same behaviour, I'd highly recommend raising a case with our team of specialists at Support so they can dive into why settings you've saved in a custom report aren't being applied. Thanks

I had raised the same issue (as I hadn't found this), and Xero Support merged it with another one that is quite different... Do they actually read our comments (and test the user interface in the first place)?

As other people said, of course it should be easier (and actually the default behaviour) to keep archived accounts hidden. We don't want to see them...

My comment was the following (it includes one more point):

Ability to properly HIDE locked archived accounts

It is annoying to keep seeing them in reports dropdowns if we are never going to use them. Plus, accounts that were archived by the system from the start cannot even be edited, so we're stuck with those codes and cannot even push the accounts to the bottom of the list, for example. Not good.

Thanks for sharing this idea and how the new homepage impacts your workflow.

    Right now, you can:

    • Use Customise homepage to add or remove whole widgets (including Bank accounts and Chart of accounts watchlist), and
    • Choose which bank accounts appear in the Bank accounts widget, and which GL accounts appear in the Chart of accounts watchlist via Select/Edit accounts.

There isn’t a broader option to hide individual GL accounts across the homepage, and this isn’t on our current roadmap, so we’re moving this idea to Gaining support so others can vote and add their use cases.

While we can’t commit to a change here right now, your feedback is logged and will be considered as we continue to iterate on the new homepage experience.

PS: Xero Support have merged my idea with this one, but I think we are talking about different things.

Hi everyone, thank you all for your support and engaging to let us know the importance and use you'd have in being able to receive bank feeds for Charities Aid Foundation(CAF) bank.

We're pleased to share that our provider Tink is building this at present and we're currently testing with a small group of users.

We appreciate your interest, and look forward to getting this in your hands soon. I'll be back to share more news as things progress. Thanks
