Hello everyone, thanks for the detail and support shared for this idea. We understand how recurring expenses would enable efficiency when you have frequent expenses of a similar nature (like subscriptions), so have moved the idea to Accepted.
Currently there is work needed within expenses to enable us to develop this capability. Once we're in a better position to be able to dive deeper into this work, we'll review all of your suggestions and share any progress with you here.

Hi team, we appreciate your interest and support in the idea here, however I want to be upfront that we don't have any near term plans for adding the ability to adjust tax in Xero Expenses.
Right now, you could consider entering the expense as a bill or Spend Money transaction using the receipt’s line-item breakdown, where you'll be able ot manually adjust the Tax amount when needed.
I appreciate this doesn't solve the underlying need here and we'll continue to track interest through this idea.

Hey community, thanks for your detailed feedback on combining expenses into a single claim.
We recognise the value in creating a more streamlined process for submitting and approving multiple expenses, especially for events like business travel.
Our product team are currently reviewing this functionality and are in an initial discovery phase, but it isn’t set in their product roadmap yet. We’ve moved the status to In Discovery to reflect this.
We’re continuing to monitor feedback on this idea and will keep you updated.

Hi everyone, thanks for your detailed feedback on combining multiple images to a single receipt.
We are changing the status of this idea to In Discovery.
This means our Product team has recognised that combining multiple images for a receipt will be a more streamlined process for expenses, especially for events like business travel and is the initial scoping phase, but haven’t got to the point where it’s on their road map.
We will continue to track your votes and comments as we progress, and we will update you all once we know more.

Our Community team have reviewed your idea and moved it to Gaining Support so it can gather input from other members. This means others can now vote and comment to share how this change could improve their experience with Xero.
At this stage, we do not have any current plans to share for developing this specifically for expense generated bills. We will continue to watch the support and detail this idea receives from the community, as that helps us better understand the level of demand and the use cases behind the request.

Hey everyone, we've been following the conversation closely and appreciate the invaluable feedback regarding expenses in Xero.
Whilst we can see how forwarding expenses to an email address would be useful for your staff, this is currently a functionality that is not on our product team’s roadmap. In line with our new Xero Product Idea status, we’ve now updated this to Not In Pipeline.
We’ll continue to monitor the support for this idea and will keep you updated with any future changes.

Thanks for sharing your idea here, Sophie. Atm our product team are working on a few changes for expense notifications - Once live there will be a few different scenarios for notifications
- When an expense is submitted users with the admin or approver role will receive an email notification that an expense is awaiting approval
- When an expense is approved or declined the user that submitted the expense will receive an email notification
- Users will no longer receive notifications when they take an action on their own expense
I'll let you know once these changes have been rolled out. But if there are other specifics in the notifications that you'd find helpful it would be good to hear these, too.

Hi Jenni, thank you for suggesting this improvement.
We completely agree that seeing the full original claim amount To Pay after a partial payment has already been made can be misleading. As you noted, this makes it difficult to see your true outstanding liability at a glance.
It's now up to the community to get behind and support this idea. Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit so they can add their vote too!
