  1. Our charity places values first and in searching for a new current account for our organisation, ones with high ethical standards that synchronise with Xero is a very restricted field. CAF, Unity Trust, Triodos for example do not have bank feeds and they say this capacity sits with Xero. We currently bank with The Cooperative that scores well, and we have had to leave Barclays who have been exposed as very poor.   2. We run a music festival of 10 concerts. Each concert is set up as a tracking category. It would be great to spread the direct and admin costs across evenly acoss all 10 concerts in a way that doesn't involve entering each invoice across 10 lines.

    Thanks for all sharing and supporting how bulk reconciling transactions and suggestions that have been matched to statement lines in your bank would help your business.

    It's great to see the trust you've built in Xero's capabilities to match and help you save time from manually finding and creating transactions to reconcile your bank.

    Along with building on the foundations of our platforms, the teams efforts at present have been on improving the ability to create suggested transactions for more statement lines in your org - With a lot of this being backend logics there's not a heap you'll see from the front side of things but Xero's reconcile engine is getting stronger and overtime you should find even less need to create transactions in your org, yourself.

    With this work underway there is no development for being able to reconcile transactions that have the 'OK' presented option atm,…

  4. Currently there is no way to sort or search for unpaid invoices in Hubdoc. This renders the paid flag only useful if you manually scroll down the invoice list. Getting a quick list of all unpaid invoices would be really useful functionality addition and add a point to the paid tick box. I would use it every time I logged into hubdoc.

    Given the flag already exists it would hopefully be a relatively small change.

Bank Transfers - they are great and easy - but it would be awesome if we could just improve them in the following ways - some of these suggestions incorporates other suggestions - but thinking if you are working on improving this functionality - it would be great to do it all at once. Currently when you create a transfer from the Bank feed - you can only select a bank account and enter a reference - it would be great if you could also, add tracking code(s) on that screen too (as currently if you need to attach tracking…

  8. While the auto tax feature is nice, there's certainly limitations, which makes using it complicated. When auto tax is activated, the repeating invoices that move to draft etc should have the auto tax feature already featured. Shouldn't have to change each invoice from manual tax to auto tax.

    This is especially tedious when subscription-based clients are using the repeating invoice feature. Hundreds of invoices are being put to drafts for some clients.

  9. Since we ultimately want to see how much each employee is spending and since employees must be set up as a contact - We should be able to link the employees User Id to their contact. This way all the expenses submitted will show up as spend money transactions under the contact for each employee.

    Obviously right now the employee could choose themselves as the contact when they submit the expense report but more often than not, they will not.

    Having the contact linked to the user id will be particularly helpful for reconciling credit cards since the contact info…

  10. To be able to trace back to a billable expense that is connected to a sales invoice.
    I know on the billable expense it states the sales invoice reference number it's connected to (and is a clickable link to take you to the invoice) but on the sales invoice it just mentions billable expense, not a reference or more detail or a link to lead you back to which expense it is.
    This would be extremely useful.

  11. Multiple Report Styles

    It would be great to have multiple report styles for reporting where different logos and different names can be added for reporting. For example we have 2 companies using the same Xero HQ where one company does the accounting work and the other company compiles the reports so we need to publish reports with 2 different report styles and logos.

  12. Instead of tying in the amounts, what about adding a tick box next to the value where you can select the full amount shown and only if a lesser amount is to be used then have to type in the value.

  13. We always have a significant number of bills "Awaiting Approval". As such our P&L is never accurate and for our large company it is out significantly.

    It is the exception and rare that a bill will not be approved (ie didnt receive stock). Therefore the P&L would finally be closest and most accurate if it included "Awaiting Approval"

    This should be included. If not then a button should be available so that the company can make this decision themselves and include the "Awaiting Payment" bills.

    Appreciate how this would be beneficial for your business having assurity in an awaiting approvals likelihood. 

    With businesses having varying levels of assurity around this I want to be open that we don't have any direct intention fo changing reports like the P&L to automatically include this, however we'll begin to track the level of interest around this, here. Thanks

  14. I have around 100 billable expenses each month, I click on the 'Billable' in Expensify and that comes through to xero, but there are many that need to be entered into xero directly.
    We need a report showing unbilled expenses where we can click on the items to mark them as billable in bulk, rather than line by line, which takes up a lot of time.

  15. This report is great, I love it but we need to be able to customize it more. When you try and add columns it gives a message saying that you have to delete the total column first, then you need to manually add a total column which isn't the end of the world, but you can't select the the new total column in and of the formulas, like if I wanted to add the variance column (Which I would love to) but I can't.

  16. It would be handy if account transaction list that shows when you click on your bank account could be modified to include / remove different fields so that you can see information that you would like to see when looking at bank transactions without having to create a custom report.

  17. Bank Reconciliation - Match Does Not Work with Contact Account Numbers

    The ability to search by contact account numbers when matching bank transactions is essential as most deposits on the bank statements are referenced with the client/customer account number only. The bank reconciliation ignores contact account numbers in totality.

  18. Give us a summary snapshot for a contact. Example: Jane Doe Total Profit (or Loss), Total Number of Transactions, or something that makes sense to have available.

  19. It seems like a ridiculous hack to have to duplicate tasks for various staff members or charge out rates. eg TASK1(apprentice), TASK1(trade assistant), TASK1(Tradesman)...TASK2(apprentice) ...and so on.

    The inability to organise 'tasks' into groups/ headings within a project is another obvious flaw and means that 'tasks' could functionally only really be used as 'major cost centres' rather than granular tasks, but even at a very top level breakdown, having those 'tasks' would get unwieldy very quickly.

    I know that Xero Projects is a light weight add on, but that is also part of its appeal. So many other offerings eg.…
