When will this simple request be paid attention to?

Probably more important then anything else, how long.

Need to be notified when an invoice is paid

Important when the business needs to take some further action on receipt of payment.

Critical when there are integrated services, such as Stripe, that auto-reconcile the whole process so the business is unaware that payment has been made!

We have to be notified when customers pay their invoice so that we can promptly send their products.

I need to know when to order the product from my supplier, which I can only do when the customer has committed to pay. An email notification and an alert on the notification bell in the dashboard would be a great help to ensure payments are acted upon swiftly and not missed.
I used to have this functionality with my previous accounts software provider and it was an important step in the purchasing process.

Useful for general credit control, but also where we pay the supplier/freelancer/contractor only after we have been paid by the end client it would be really helpful in speeding up those payments

We need notifications on invoice being paid. PLEASE!!!

2024 guys!

Honestly guys, it's 2024! This is something very Basic. It should not be that difficult to set this up. Can we please get this feature implented? It makes the Customer experience of Xero a lot more enjoyable.

Very important and basic feature that would allow users to know when clients make payments toward invoice--especially when it's time sensitive.

I'm surprised this isn't already available. Would highly appreciate a notification when invoices are paid to make it easier to keep track.

This is very important for us as our sales team need to know if a service has been paid for without getting us to check Xero every time, especially as we are all on different timezones

Important to know when invoice has been paid to I can ship the customers order. I font have to keep going back to xero to check if its paid

Maybe if Xero spent money on this instead of ads, etc. for the women's world cup, they'd be able to add simple and highly requested features!!!

Please add this feature. It is crucial to keep track

Xero has recently fired ~800 staff, so if it hasn't happened in the last 10 years I would be even less confident that it will happen now.

We are looking at alterative suppliers who offer this option, so much time is wasted having to go in an check each invoice that has been raised to see if payment has occurred. This really is a basic feature that has been overlooked and exceptionally important managing business operations. Has this been escalated to Xero senior management, are they aware?

This is critical now, why is your webpage saying the wrong date for my input?

Also, this is fairly basic for somethign that was suggested in 2013
