Auto sending of financial reports is NECESSARY. It's a huge waste of time to have to download/email reports manually, especially if you have a lot of clients. This is a basic feature in Quickbooks - please get with the program!

Sadly such a simple request is being denied? Why because it is a user feature that prevents Xero from locking-in/controlling your data and being able to charge for 3rd party integrations.

Yet another example of the Enshittification of the internet. Even from a company like Xero that did so much to make things better.

As the pressure to continually maximise profitability hits senior management, they have to start erecting (or in this case, not removing) little barriers that make the service shittier for customers - unless you pay them more in some way.

Do better Xero! Don't become a Quickbooks.

This would be a fantastic feature. Hopefully, the number of comments here can persuade Xero decision-makers to include this requirement in near future releases?

Come on guys - this a very basic requirement. It is 2024 not 2004!!

Absolutely shocking that you are going to ignore this. I want a weekly report with overdue invoices on so I don't keep having to log in.

This would be a very welcome feature. Am used to it in Oracle cloud from a previous workplace. Having a scheduled csv file landing in the email inbox allowed for real-time Trial Balance analysis without needing to log-in. We would actually schedule this for every hour through busy month end times.

I can imagine the use for multiple budget variance reports to schedule on a monthly basis for departmental reporting too.

This is a basic feature, shocking that it wasn't implemented 10 years ago.

Hi Xero team - with such limited flexibility Xero has on permissions (e.g. we cannot allow access to our whole team to Xero), this is an essential feature.
Please could you give an update on when this will be available?

I would have thought it would be a no-brainer to have this function. It is time consuming to log into Xero, download and copy reports into a spreadsheet. If reports could be email in Excel, CSV or PDF format it would significantly improve productivity. It's disappointing that Xero is so behind on this.

If we can schedule invoices to go out each month, seems like it wouldn't be too hard to be able to schedule a report to send. As it stands, there isn't even a typical 'Sales Report' I can run a 'Receivables' report, but I would like to just run a customer sales report, and I would like to be able to schedule it to run once a month and be sent to me.

It isa feature that appears in most other Accounting packages - Xero you need to have this to keep up!

We are in the process of transferring one of our clients from Quickbooks to Xero and this is one of the functions that we use on a weekly basis so it would be helpful for it to be provided within Xero.

WE are using Xero to report future dated PO's to help simpify forecasting. Ideally, we could send a report to each staff member of their open PO's on a monthly basis automatically!

It will provide great value to Xero Business Partners on servicing their clients.

In a world of autoamted effeciency, this is a no brainer.

Amazing that this is not an existing feature.
Even a share button or an option in the export menu to send an email would be an expected feature.
