Hello all 👋, I'm a developer currently working on exporting multiple types of attachments in bulk (currently in beta).

I came across this post and thought "why hasn't this simple issue been solved already!".

I'd love to help and I'd appreciate your opinions on what you'd like exported and in what way, it's few questions only, the link to the form is here:

Let's get this issue sorted asap!

We are a SaaS company and 95% of our invoicing is repeating invoices. We've recently added a US branch which will invoice our US customers out of a separate instance of Xero. No easy way to move all the US invoices from one Xero instance to another

Xero, now that you have implemented 'new invoicing' will this feature to added? Surely the new invoicing will be easier to add enhancements to and this is essential. We invoice our clients for their Xero fees (ironically) and each time there is an increase we need to edits hundreds of repeating invoices individually.

we are migrating a client onto Xero, they have 5000 existing repeating invoices - apparently they will need to be set up manually as no feature in Xero to bulk upload!

Even the ability to produce a report off these would be helpful in the interim. I have around 1,400 of these, so it is important, and doing screen shots is just no good.

I totally agree with this idea. I have just spent three days copying and pasting repeating invoices out of one company's Xero into another due to one company buying another company. This is not really acceptable in todays world. If Xero aren't willing to give us, the users, access to do this then they should offer an export/import service themselves.

Yes I agree with this idea, there is a work around but it's a bit manual and can't understand why you can't export repeating invoices

I would like to see this option to import / export feature

It would be really useful to be able to download recurring transactions so that we can project pipeline accurately. When will we see this in Xero?

A year on and a number of supporting comments but no added feature. We are about to go through the process of updating our subscription rates again and will have to do it manually again. Please initiate this feature.
Or alternatively allow a change to a product code rate to flow through to repeating invoices so at least you only have to change that rate once.

We are about to change our ABN which requires a new xero file and the re-creation of every repeating invoice, this option would save soo much re-work, not to mention the ease of annual reviews. Please have this functional before 1st July 2024??

I have just asked Xero about this - the reponse was to tell me that a lot of people had been asking for this - and I was sent a link to this page.

Well done Xero - Take our money and send us around in circles.

Given the frequency of fee changes for Xero Partners and service/product fee changes for Xero clients that also use repeating invoices it really would make sense to streamline the admin by ensuring bulk changes can be made.

Completely agree, Xero needs to add this feature to bulk import recurring invoices.

Every 6 months Xero increases their fees, we have to go through updating repeating invoices MANUALLY. Ridiculous such an easy feature is not implemented

The be all and end all is that Xero product ideas are just a front, to give the persona that they give a ****! You can use find and recode to change tax rates which affects so many things but to bulk update repeating invoices... that's too hard. An experienced coder could make this happen in an afternoon!

I have seen so many users ask for this so many times. I desperately need this. Why is it so difficult. Who ever is managing this Product Ideas page. Will you please respond. This is ridiculous.

Absolute necessity!

I have asked for this a few times yet it never seems to happen yet they have rolled out a new sales invoicing system something i don't think was a necessity to be honest - being able to export/import bulk repeating invoices would be so wonderful it would save so much time and you could easily sort and split into relevant categories within the business to advise financial directors who is being invoiced in the future and who we would need to add if a customer was missing form the list.

this ability is vital yet here we are and still no signs of this being an option on Xero in February 2024 I have been asking for this since 2022.
