Show files icon and number of documents attached within Account Transaction report.
Purpose: To easily search the attached document from the main account transaction report screen.

Makes it easier for checking all direct payments have invoices attached to the transaction. Also to locate those that don't

This would be very useful, particularly with more clients uploading supporting documents against transactions.

It would be extremely helpful if on the transaction report the document icon appears on the right with a quick link to the attached documents. Having to click into each transaction is extremely time consuming when there is a substantial volume of transactions and trying to audit for missing documents - completely agree with this comment from Audrey Nairns.

Being able to see what documents are attached to a transaction in the Transaction/General Ledger report would enable these reports to be used as workpapers and can then easily access the supporting documentation.
Will also know when there is supporting documentation for a transaction, without having to go into each transaction separately.
Even better would be to access the document direct from the files icon, as is possible from the Bills to pay and Invoices tabs. -

Please add the file icon to the account txn report under the reporting platform. Having to click into each txn to see if there is any attachment is not sustainable when there is a substantial volume of txns and trying to audit for missing documents.

This would be SO useful to review a month-end and see what paperwork we have/are missing.

I think it would be useful to be able to produce a report to identify any transactions which don't have a document attached.

It would be helpful if when you run a transaction report the document icon appears on the right with a quick link to the attached document/s. When clients don't add any details to a transaction, it would be helpful to see the invoice to identify what the transaction is. This function is available on the VAT return and I think it would be helpful to be on the transaction report too.

Much like the VAT return report add the attachment link within the account transactions report

Not quite the same request but related...
If you look at the Account Transactions tab of the bank accounts it's easy to see that a file has been attached to the transaction, which is great. Now we need the same thing, a folder icon, next to each bill/invoice/Spend/Receive on the contact card. It's really irritating having to view each transaction to see if you've attached the paperwork or not. Why is this not already a feature?

No brainer, it's great on the VAT report but this report is generally run first.
