Hi team, we’re pleased to share that we have begun rolling out the ability to show nil(zero) balance accounts within the Profit & Loss (Income Statement), Statement of Cash Flows – Direct Method, Trial Balance, Cash Summary, Movements in Equity, Blank reports and Report Templates.

When available you’ll find a new option from the ‘More’ menu in each of these reports, as well as a blanket setting within the Report preferences where you can select to ‘Include accounts with zero balances or activity’.

As we slowly ramp up this release to all users, we thank you for your direct interest in this idea here and welcome your feedback.

While I’ll be sharing any feedback from you with our product team, I’ll also be back to confirm once complete and this feature is with live with you all.

Thanks for continuing to engage with us on this, everyone. While it is now possible to include account numbers, as mentioned in our last update we’ve been continuing to review this idea and look into how we develop the option to show nil balance for accounts when running reports.

Work for this is now in development with our product team. We’ll be looking to implement a solution that enables the ability to show nil balance for accounts across the Profit & Loss (Income Statement), Statement of Cash Flows – Direct Method, Trial Balance, Cash Summary, Movements in Equity, Blank report as well as in Report Templates.

As work for this progresses we’ll keep you all informed and updated through the idea here.

Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate your feedback and input to the idea here. To confirm it is possible to add account codes to the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Budget Variance and Cash Summary reports through the ‘More’ option on the report.

We also understand the needs in wanting to be able to show accounts with a 0.00 balance. While this is something our team would like to be able to address, there have been other priorities that require more immediate attention. As soon as there is activity around progressing this idea, we’ll update you all of this here.
