Contacts - Send out bulk emails to suppliers and customers
Ability to send bulk emails to both suppliers and customers.
Purpose: Saves more time when businesses need to send emails to all their contacts. Especially when they need to announce specials or price increases.
Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate hearing where our users would like to see change across Xero. We also hear feedback through many other sources, and realistically while we’d love to, we simply cannot work on all things at once. Our product teams must make hard choices on where, and what to develop everyday, to continue delivering consistently high value to our customers.
That being said, there are no plans to make Xero a fully functioning email system for communicating with your contact base, like what’s being asked here. Focus for the team at present is needed on more critical projects, such as building on beautiful. There are many integrations available through our ecosystem, if you don’t find one specifically for sending out bulk emails to contacts, you could approach a custom-cloud integrator to build one for you at a fee.
I know this isn’t the news you’re hoping for, but we want to be transparent so you can make the best choices for your business.

This would be so helpful for advising customers of changes in charges, upcoming holidays etc without having to send individually.
Notes added in emails when sending invoices/statements can be missed so it would be very helpful to be able to send to all customers as a plain email. Thanks.

Exactly! I can't believe it's not already a feature. I need to advise all of our current debtors of our change of banking details and because Xero is SHITE in so many ways, I have to retrieve every one of their email addresses to send it to them via Outlook. Arrrrgggghhh!!!!!

I would love to see a feature added where just like sending out statements to the contacts database there will be an option to create a 'customized' email to be able to send out to the customer database for the purpose of: change of business details, change in services provided, a thank you for your custom etc....
This would make for better client relationships and communication.

We would like to inform an e-mail group of a change in legislation, so this feature would be extremely useful and if you could also attach a PDF this would be great.

We have changed our bank details so needing to update this with our contacts so it would be great if we could send an email to all of them at once.

Currently we can select customers and put them into a group. It would be great if we could create a price list from the items we sell then send to the group via email.

We are in the process of implementing credit limits to our new customers and it would be great if I could do this in a bulk email with the credit limit field being a placeholder for us.

I agree that this would be an extremely useful facility - especially in terms of updating all contacts to a change which affects all globally i.e. change of address, telephone number, email address etc

Best solution so far is create an Email template to select when sending statements and invoices. This at least covers all with current balances.
The customers that have no current balance don't appear in the statement list. -
