Quotes - Title and Summary to flow through to Sales Invoices
Ability to make quote’s title and summary flow through to Sales Invoices.
Purpose: To save users’ time rather than having them manually input the same title and summary when the quotes are converted into invoices.

This feature is essential to our account clients. Our invoices cannot have less information than our quotes.

I cannot believe this is not a feature. This is a critical requirement when you work for insurance companies. I was hoping to save money by going with Xero but it looks like QB is the only option.

Sales invoices would be great if they could have a "title" box and a "description" or work carried out box similar the quote style. My clients like to know what was actually done for them and currently i am using a zero charge line item to do this and it looks very messy.

I agree, it is redundant to retype all of information from title and summary onto invoice as our clients would like to see purpose of invoicing and our clients want to see at least why we invoiced them. Majority of time invoices go to accounts payable not to the person receiving quote and we find we have to retype purpose onto invoice when already on title or summary of invoice or accounts payable rejects invoices and then it re-ages again once we fix the issue

My clients expect this on invoices, and in fact where the line items cant (dont want) to be shown, its actually a legal requirements to have this summary included so they know what the invoice is for. PLEASE can you sort this out urgently? its actually stopped the ability for my client to pay one of my invoices this month.

Not all jobs are quoted for first, how can I describe what work was carried out without a summary? Unable to use your templates because of this, creating more work for me as I have to upload my invoices. Please add invoice summary.

I'd like to have the ability to carry the estimate summary through to project and into the invoice.
Also I'd like the ability to attach the PO number to an estimate, carry it through to project (Searchable in reports) and automatically Carry through to the invoice.
This would help with automatically invoicing projects on a weekly/monthly basis.

Ability to add an invoice title or project reference to the top of an invoice
Purpose: To differentiate between invoices for different projects
