Invoice Reminders - Auto email Statements to customers
Ability to send an automatic statement to customer
Purpose: To prevent late payment from customer
Thanks for your support on the idea, everyone. We thoroughly appreciate your participation, and letting us know where you'd like to see change across Xero.
Customer statements, is an area of Xero that needs upgrades to it's technology in order to make ideas like this one here possible.
Currently, while we have plans for modernising this space soon we cannot commit to any new developments for Statements until this work has been complete. Once this has been done I'll round back to the idea here when we can reset the objectives.

Come on Xero this should be a standard feature. For us we don't need it as much to send out but some of our suppliers are unable to send us regular statements each month and I have to remind THEM to send one when I do the supplier payment runs for our restaurant which is really annoying!

How are scheduled statements not a thing yet?
It would save a lot of time for everyone to have statements go out on their specified date! -

I have a customer who requires end-of-month statements. All my invoices with them are automated so this is the ONLY manual part -- and is very tedious to set a reminder to myself to do it every single month.
The feature would need to have a way to lock the start of the date range and cutomise the end of the date range.

This would save a lot of time, unsure why XERO don't have this function, people have been talking about it for years.
Clients paying bills on-time is as important as having a quality accounts package
if set for 14 days it should email at 15 days and you should have the option to send it at a set time, with auto reminders set at a choice of ever day, 2 days 3 days etc automated time setting is better. -

I cannot really believe that Xero does not have this yet, I mean this is a basic feature to be able to send out automatic statements. Doing it manually wastes time and also has the risk to be forgotten which makes some customers angry as they require monthly statements.

Who has time to do a manual statement run each month? With many clients wanting statements sending out this would save a huge amount of time.

Many Customers require their statements by a certain date, sometimes meetings, or leave, come up and I am unable to meet this criteria. It would be really great to "set and forget"

Some customers do not want all their invoices sent separately and want a Statement sent once a month. As I help out with this business for love it is quite hard to keep track of which customers want statements and then to make sure it is sent. Busy with children and full time work is hard enough, being able to choose between invoice reminders and statement reminders would make a massive difference and would free up a lot of time.
