Hi everyone, appreciate the added support and interest from many here in the community for more flexibility and visibility of notes for a contact.

Our Contacts team have been paying close attention and are working on additional notes for a contact to support this.
Once available, you’ll be able to add a note when adding or editing a contact. You’ll find this located at the bottom of the Contact details section. This feature will enable you to type up to 4000 characters, and text you enter here can be edited and/or deleted at any time. It’ll also be visible from the left panel when viewing a Contact record in your organisaton.

Just starting to roll out to users – we’ll round back to confirm once it’s live to you all.

Hi everyone, over the recent months you’ll have experienced some of the change coming in Contacts with the new Contacts list view that was released in 2021 ( https://www.xero.com/blog/2021/09/better-visibility-of-your-contacts/ ).

We’re still working heavily in this space and the team have been continuing to iterate on the List View page and developing the Create/Edit view for a contact.

While foundational work is the primary focus for the team at present, new functionality like notes as you’re asking here aren’t in scope yet.
