Bank Rule - "Does not" criteria
Add a "not" argument to bank rules to allow for a greater control
e.g. bank text does not contain "example" or, amount isn't "x.xx"

Definitely a very crucial feature missing!
Another simple example is for remuneration versus other expenses: the monthly wages payment amount equals X , so I can create a rule for wages.
For all other payments to the same person, for instance dividends, in various amounts, we can only create a rule with payee name, regardless of amount, and this rule picks up all payments, including the wages.
There should be a rule conditions for amount DIFFERENT / NOT EQUAL to X.

Absolutely agree. This is a fundamental requirement. How can it be left out !!!

I agree, this seems like a pretty simple logic to build in and would be very helpful

I can't believe xero doesn't already have this! Its absolutely vital. I'm needing to use many work arounds because of this lacking functionality.

This option would be fantastic, and I'm always amazed when it turns out 'contains' is not matched with 'does not contain'.
As an example, many tradies often buy fuel from 'BP' in various suburbs. However, many tradies also make payments labelled 'BPay'. Being able to set up a rule that 'contains "BP" and does not contain "BPay"' would be amazing.

Would be very helpful for clients with multiple insurance policies that are of different natures (ie car insurance and public liability insurance) that only have a narrative of Wesfarmers or Youi for example. Being able to say not this amount would be very helpful.
