Thanks for the detail in your last message, Carlo. We appreciate some users may expect this to work differently, however as you have noted the files preview for PDF's is driven by the browser settings.
If you're finding your PDF's download rather than being able to view them in your browser we would recommend looking at your browser settings to make sure the option to view in browser has been selected (as per the screenshot you shared).
Being upfront this is not behavior that we're looking to change in the near future.

Surprised this doesn't have more votes - every time I enter a rental schedule on an AU individual tax return, I'm left opening last year's PDF tax return to review exactly which line-items I entered last year. For eg 'council rates' where I'm entering a single total, I shouldn't need to add a schedule line just so I can guarantee I'll catch it and compare to it next year.

Hi community, we really appreciate your feedback on this and hearing why you'd like to be able to change the organisation's name that's shown when sending invoices from Xero.
This is on our teams radar, and is something they may look into longer term however we want to be open that it's not in the current roadmap.
We'll continue to track and keep across the interest from our community, and if there's any news to share we'll update you on this, here.

I can only further agree with the existing comments. As a start, I cannot believe that the Organisation Settings even have a field that is called 'legal / trading name' given that legal name and trading name are two completely separate things.
Someone in the Dev team has decided to draw on this thinking it's a 'trading name' when for various requirements, the entity's legal name does have to be in this field, and as a result this is causing major issues.
Surely the simple fix, which is required immediately, would just be deleting this legal name header from the top of the e-mail template entirely (given we can't edit it in any way) and only reinstating it when it is either editable or when the organisation settings are flexible enough to allow for multiple trading names.

This option would be fantastic, and I'm always amazed when it turns out 'contains' is not matched with 'does not contain'.
As an example, many tradies often buy fuel from 'BP' in various suburbs. However, many tradies also make payments labelled 'BPay'. Being able to set up a rule that 'contains "BP" and does not contain "BPay"' would be amazing.

Thank you for your contribution and support on the idea. We understand that the ability to easily save and close in one click would benefit your workflows, however to be upfront we don't have direct plans for making this change within the payslip in the foreseeable future.
We appreciate this is not the news you’d hope to hear, but we'd like to be open and transparent with you on this, here.

Hiya team, we had high hopes but unfortunately we've had to put plans for being able to copy & transfer the Capital Gains Tax(CGT) worksheet down for the intermediary.
We still intend to bring focus to this idea over the longer term but will shift this idea back to Submitted for now until we can begin active development. As soon as there's more word to share I'll be back with an update, here

I note this issue also occurs in Firefox. Xero has advised that the issue has to be solved at the browser level so we may be hard out of luck, but perhaps Xero's dev team could ensure the PDF preview process is operating as efficiently as possible, or find a way to 'work around' these browser issues.
