NZ Payroll - Process timesheets for future periods

Allow a timesheet to be created for the week ahead of the pay week. This allows employees with standard hours to enter their hours in advance. It also allows managers to run payrolls in advance if circumstances need it

    June 2025 and the updated timesheets is worse. We need this as we dont have anyone else doing payroll and im about to head away on holiday and now need to work on holiday.....not ideal!

    Please allow for a custom dated timesheet to add advanced timesheets, or 2-4 weeks in future to be made available.

    This is very important, particularly when the payroll officer is going away on leave and wants to process payroll in advance.

    This would be an amazing feature for Xero payroll as there are so many times in the year that we need to be able enter hours in advance to process payroll on time and correctly.

    When would this be looked at?

    Important for a range of times including Xmas/New Year and when either the payroll officer or staff member are going on leave.

    Extremely important, particularly for processing Christmas/New Year wages in advance OR if a Payroll Clerk may be away on planned leave they will have the ability to process wages in advance also.
