UK Payroll | Reset holiday accrual on anniversary date

HOLIDAY ACCRUAL SHOULDN'T TAKE A MONTH TO RESET
We have holiday entitlement to reset on the 1st of April each year, however, the holidays don't reset until the 1st of May and after April's pay run.
Please vote for all holiday balances to reset on the actual anniversary date.

Hi everyone, we're pleased to update you that these changes have been released in UK Payroll! 🎉 This includes the ability to set employee's leave to accrue based on a custom date of your choosing. Additionally, we've released changes based on the feedback here so that leave will now accrue on the first day of your annual accrual method.

    I would really like if Xero could include all the statutory days in the overall leave balance? I have asked and was told that at the moment this could not be done.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kinda pointless unless you can actually customise the holiday year itself! 95% of UK businesses use the U.K. tax year April to April . Not January

    We're an Australian company with a UK division. Their holiday resets at the same time as our finance YE which is July. We desperately need the ability to customize the start date of the holiday accrual

    It would be very useful to have a custom holiday start date, our holidays run with the UK financial year rather than calendar. Would be easier if you can choose the date when the new holidays start and how they accrue. My company has a four month window in the new financial year to use up unused holidays from the pervious finincial year. At the moment we cannot use the holiday feature and have to work it out manually.

    I will need to use some other software to manage employee leave until it is possible to set up holiday accruals from a custom date

    Xero needs to sort this this custom renewal date for annual leave ASAP! It’s ridiculous something so simple isn’t available.
    Our holiday year runs the same as the U.K. tax year which is April 6th to April 5th.
    When it resets in January it’s an absolute nightmare trying to manually add back the missing balances between Jan ~ April for 10 employees.
    Having balances in hours is also a headache - showing the entitlements in days would be a lot easier (based on their contracted hours / days already put in)

    To have annual leave calendar to start on 1st April should be a standard option. Many companies use this date or use their financial year date so a custom option should be an option

    Payroll in xero to have the ability to set a 'Custom' anniversary date for accrued holiday entitlement. Some Limited Companies use there financial year as their holiday entitlement calendar year.

    Payroll in Xero to have the ability to set a different anniversary date for leave to accrue on.

    To have annual leave calendar to start on 1st April would be great.

    Accrue leave at end of calendar year so it is showing available at 1st January rather than not showing until after January pay run. Currently no allowance shows for employees until January pay run which is wrong if holiday starts at 1st Jan.
