New Invoicing - Allow manual typing of a Date in 'Add Payment' screen
Hello,
When you go to add in a 'add payment' in new invoicing, today's date auto populates. If you click on this field to change the date, you HAVE to use the calendar and arrows, it won't let you type in a date.
Can you please add this feature, like is available in most other areas of Xero?
If you could also please allow any date format to be entered in his field this would be preferred, (yes like bank reconciliation dates, not like fixed assets dates which only allow 1 format of date to be entered)

Sorry Xero but this is so important in new invoicing. I see it can now be done with payment. Why not the invoicing

Previously, when entering payment details, I could simply input the amount, press "Tab," and then quickly move on to enter the date and account directly using the keyboard. This made the process fast and efficient, and it was a great time-saver.
However, with the recent update, the only option to input the date and account during the "Add Payment" process is through a dropdown menu, which requires constant mouse clicking. This change is not only inconvenient, but it also completely disrupts the smooth workflow that I was accustomed to. It’s frustrating to have to click through the dropdown to find the correct date and account, and it’s very easy to make mistakes by selecting the wrong option.

And move the Add Payment function back to the invoice screen. Why must we open another window, with ANOTHER mouse click, to add the payment. And, also, if it has to remain a separate window don't shade out the window behind. it's so faint that I can't see the invoice date very well (in the small font that I have to use in order to see the entire invoice window on my screen...another complaint about this terrible system).

And please allow "." as a date separator, not just "/".

NEW INVOICING
Allow manual entering of date-having when adding a payment. Having to use a drop down calendar is time consuming. -

Adding a payment is such a waste of time. Before I can just type the date then tab to the account and finish entering a payment without any clicking with the mouse. Now the new invoicing is so annoying. can't be more disappointing with the dropdown menu.

Bring back date entry the same as classic invoicing - so annoying have the dropdown calendar every time and why has the ability to use . instead of / on date entry - which is much easier input.
Seems to be that the most popular thing to do is revert it back to classic invoicing permanently. -

New Invoicing - Clean up file. Currently working on removing incorrect payments to invoices by removing payment and reallocating the payment to the correct clearing account. When adding the payment, the calendar pops up to assist with choosing the date. As I am working on August 2023, this is alot of clicking in the payment date area to have the calendar show August 2023 dates. If an option to choose another date and then manually enter this would be save alot of clicks and time.
