Fixed Asset Reconciliation report - Hide accounts
I would like to be able to hide accounts on the Fixed Asset reconciliation report so that I don't have a page full of Fixed Assets accounts that have no assets attached, and haven't been used for years.
Thanks Cara for your feedback.

Hi Guys
I fully agree. I have 20 expired patent accounts (plus their Acc. Depn Accounts) clogging up my Balance Sheet plus having to manage all those accounts when I customise a report.Currently not being able to Archive accounts is a completely unsatisfactory solution from a customer perspective and should become a priority development task for Xero.
I was advised that they can't delete or archive accounts because archiving damages the integrity of historical financial transactions.?!?
From a customer perspective I don't mind what Xero does in the back-end, as I am just interested in the front end. This leads to solutions like Xero has for the "deleted transactions" which is to effectively "hide" them. Surely, there is no reason we can't have a form of "hide" function that we can use in both the COA and reporting filters. The accounts are still there but just hidden from view.

What could work here is if chart of account codes that are moved to 'archive' state are removed from the fixed asset report - that would I think fix this issue which I would also like to see resolved.
