RDO and similar monthly accruals
Manually recording rates for certain leave types such as RDO is painfully tedious and time consuming. It's important to be accurate, but as this is repeated for many employees, it becomes easier to make mistakes.
The fixed amount per period is not flexible enough as there isn't a selection of periods to apply a fixed amount to, and if this was rectified, our business would not need a manually recorded rate so frequently.
Previously suggested by another user is a per hour period (80 hrs work = 4 hrs RDO). This is a good concept. An additional cutomisation level to include per hour, per day, per week, per month, per quarter is needed for the fixed amount per period to actually function in the way the name implies.
Leave entitlements are looked at too frequently to be deemed unimportant. This should be adjusted ASAP.
