  1. Why can't you open a document , press share and the doucment filed into Hubdoc in the same way you can with Xero Files where want to push into Hubdoc initially?

    Also you can seem to add PDF file types (that are not photos taken previously and stored in your phone gallery) with or without downloading the PDF document onto your device first - why is that?

    Is Hubdoc a proper document storage facility?

  2. We like the discount column on Customer Invoices.
    We love being able to copy Customer Invoices to Bills.

    But what happens to the discount when we copy a customer invoice to a supplier bill? It appears in the total but it doesn't appear anywhere on the bill and it's impossible to edit or remove unless the entire discounted item is removed and added.

    I've spent many confused hours wondering why the bill doesn't add up.

    Even a flag to state that there is a hidden discount would be an improvement.

  3. There is currently no option to print a packing slip from repeating invoices options.
    We need to be able to print a packing slip at the start of a hire before any invoice has been raised.

  4. Improve security of printed checks by adding leading and trailing asterisks to amount fields.

    Example $150.99***** and one-hundred fifty and 99/100****** dollars

    Makes alteration of amounts more difficult.

  5. Xero expenses has been with us for 5 years. There have been no significant feature upgrades despite us all paying extra for the privilege.
    Basic functionality like searchability, proper alignment with bill functionality to search suppliers and see total engagement with suppliers, ability to include attachments (e.g. bill documents from expenses) to pass through to customer invoices, ability to add a markup to expenses (e.g. for common cost plus models) etc. - NONE, not a little, nothing, zilch, nada of this has been actioned by Xero and nobody seems to be available or interested in discussing it.   6. PO to approved quote. My customers want to add their PO number and possibly an attachment upload to an approved quote when they select approve on the link. This should be very simple to fix. Also, then this would give us more capabilities in the approval process by allowing documentation to be added to the quote directly from the customer. This way it will tell me when I invoice them what PO was on the order. Also, they were asking for a place to put notes as well. They have notes on a reject but not approve.

  7. I am unable to go through cash coding as I am often required to apply a transaction to a pre set item, as some clients like more of a break down of what a transaction relates to. It would be good if you had an Item tab on cash coding so you can apply those transactions to an item all at once instead of opening each individual transaction up and entering an item.

  8. When invoicing, there is a drop down arrow/menu next to the "Print PDF" button, where you can select 'Invoice' or 'Packing Slip'.

    We need this feature to be available in the quote for printing a picking slip / delivery docket.

    Thanks for raising and supporting the idea here, community. Being open this isn't something we're looking to develop into Quotes for the time being. However, if needed you could have two branding themes, with a different Quote template: one for the quote itself, and one for a packing slip.

    You could then edit the quote, and switch the branding theme to the one you want to send out.

  9. When draft invoice/s are created via eInvoicing (Peppol network) will xero introduce the ability to call in/ match the invoice against a PO in xero (& subsequently mark the PO as billed)?
    Many of us are required to raise PO's for our purchases - so this would be a handy feature!

  12. Remove the 'Skip' or 'Allocate Credit' pop up box when entering invoices.
    When entering a number of invoices, if the customer who you are entering an invoice for has a credit on their account, a box appears asking to 'allocate the credit' or 'skip.' By clicking either it takes you back to the enter invoice screen without the option of adding another invoice. This makes it quite time consuming when entering a number of invoices.

    Is there a way from stopping the 'allocate credit' or 'skip' boxes appearing?

  14. Showing profit of Loss on Trial Balance (at both Client XERO Blue and advisor) Reports

    At present the trial balance report does not show profit or loss, can or will XERO recode the report in client reports(XERO Blue) and in the advisor templates. This is something I believe all accountants and bookkeepers will welcome the change, as the would improve workflow.
    Please refer to trial balance from competitors software (has printed that way for over 30 years)

  15. Ability to have a supplier name and link back to supplier contact list from the inventory.

    Purpose: Users can easily have information from which suppliers that they’ve purchased their inventory from, and can easily update any changes within inventory and supplier.

    Hi team, while we don't have plans for adding a field for supplier to Inventory items, right now you could run the Payable invoice Detail report to see the purchases of items, and which supplier(s) they've been bought from.

    You can also Group/Summarise the report by Item Code or Contact, depending on which you want to see together.

  19. See Inventory Item Cost when doing a Quote. I would find it helpful, when doing a quote to a customer, to see the cost of the inventory item I am quoting on. Of course, it should not appear in the final quote going to the client, but seeing it, would give me more confidence in doing my quote and make it a lot quicker. Thanks

When emailing bills to Xero as I am working from my email account and Xero at the same time, the page has to be refreshed by clicking into one of the other tab options all the time and back again. It would be great if there was a button that just said refresh so I am not wasting time jumping from drafts screen to one of the other tabs such as all and then back to the drafts.

    Additionally we process all of our invoices into draft format firstly. When doing this sometimes they are out of order. It would…
