  1. Users who are 'invoice only - sales' need to be able to view prepayments when they look at the individual customer's activity tab. Currently prepayments do not appear at all.

    They only appear when they open an invoice in the old invoicing (this feature has disappeared with new invoicing but is apparently being fixed)

  2. Hubdoc User roles - it would be incredibly helpful if upload only users were able to view (not edit or add) tags from a common list. We have 17 staff who have company visa's I'm wanting to use Hubdoc for them to be able to upload their visa receipts & invoices instead of having them manually sent to me the following month for coding and entering.

    I've set up the tags with the descriptions of the GL codes, however I've found that they are unable to view or use these tags without setting them up themselves. Having a communal list…

  3. The option to view the product descriptions when in the Product and Services list should already be a feature.

    Many of our products have an abbreviated item name, with the description containing the expanded product information. Opening individual products to view the description takes a significant amount of time as we have over 1,500 items.

    It is also the product description, not the product item name, that appears on invoices to customers, so it only makes sense to be able to view the descriptions from the P&S list.

  4. Cybersecurity - Phishing resistant MFA & logging of failed MFA.
    The Australian government publishes a set of 8 essential security measures. In order to progress beyond maturity level 1, platforms need to provide central logging of failed multifactor attempts and phishing resistant methods. Xero currently provides neither and can achieve this via SSO. Audit trail of logins to Xero - there seems to be a series of different visual aids and short screen reports showing when a user last logged in, however from an audit perspective, it would be ideal to have a report that can be run for set periods showing when users have logged in. The information to run this type of report is there from the History and Notes report and the Assurance Dashboard. However a report that shows a time/date stamp would be ideal as evidence in cases of fraud/performance management

  7. I think it would be great to have a screen to manage notifications settings.
    This could present a long list of notifications for different things (e.g. for me the important ones are activity statement due soon, STP filing overdue).
    For each item, the user could select if they want it active, how they want to be notified (e.g. header line, or in a widget), and whether to be emailed (very helpful for people like me who only log in once or twice a week and do a days work).

  8. completing a cert IV in accounting and bookkeeping you have to become a user for approximately 10 different companies. Therefore once you have finished your course they sit in your My Xero, the only way to remove yourself as a user it to do each one, can you have an option to remove yourself as a user for multiple companies in one step.

    This page states I can set up custom notifications in the business section under features and notifications but this is not available in my xero, only 'practice organizations' have these features.

    I want to be able to set up notifications or reminders for my staff. For example to follow up a sent quote or other tasks.

    Also, I think quotes should have the same reminder system as invoices as I think this will assist with getting quotes accepted.

  10. For the 'approve and pay' user the remittance function is limited. They should have the functionality to send remittances on a batch payment and also be able to access the remittance button at a later date. An admin member of staff needs access to the full remittance capability in order to complete their duties fully.

  11. Feature: I'd like to be able to format the [Due Date] field when it's included in email templates.

    Use Case: My standard emails include a line which reads "This invoice will be due for payment by 09 Oct 2023". I have to reformat the date to a more readable style every time.

    Basic Outcome: Using standard date formatting you should be able to express the date as "Monday 9 October, 2023" - note that the leading "0" on the date number has been omitted, and also the inclusion of a comma after the month.

  14. Hi, It would be great to see customers who exceeded their credit limits on the dashboard. We push sales invoices from third-party app therefore we don't see alerts if someone has no credit limit left. If we could see a list on the dashboard we could act immediately. Thanks

  16. Xero now has a vast database of businesses many of which are profitable, and many of which are probably less so. At any rate, it has access many savvy business individuals who have capital willing to invest within and outside of their boarders. Perhaps it could create a meeting place for willing buyers and sellers of businesses. I for one am ready to retire. My business is marginal but has opportunities for someone who wants to get into my domestic market.

    Very interesting idea, Myles. It's not something that exists atm, but I've shared back with our team that manage our website. We'll keep an eye on the interest from others in this here and let you know if there's any updates to share.

  17. When you've filtered to view a certain set of submitted expenses, if you click on one to review & approve, when you go back to the main page you're back to square one. Often I want to view and approve submissions in the filtered groupings to ensure there are no duplicates or the same journey is being marked the same distance etc, but can't do this without resetting the filters each time. Annoying as our CRM system saves your filter search option each time until you sign out, which is a really useful web feature that I would recommend Xero…

  18. As you’ve found, right now it’s not possible to only show the organisations logo or to remove the organisation name from the email. This would help in customizing what is shown to recipients/clients.
