  1. When on the awaiting payment tab for invoices - having a small notes section visible so you don't have to go in and view each invoice to see if there are any notes. For example if an invoice is dispute and the payment expected date isn't known it would ideal just to see it at a quick glance.

It would be great to have the ability to have a ‘send remittance advice’ button under the accounts transactions page of the bank accounts to easily tick the payments you want to send a remittance advice of to suppliers. Perhaps next to the ‘remove & redo’ button. This will save a lot of time having to go into a payment transaction. I know that the remittance advices can be send for bulk payments but this needs to be done before the payment is removed if various suppliers are paid in the same batch. It would be good to have the ability to add a customer watchlist to the dashboard so that businesses can see when customers have overdue invoices or reached their credit limits so credit credit control can be improved. I personally don't like the email reminders as that doesn't work for our business model so I feel like a watchlist on the dashboard would be good.

    The Payroll /Or Payrun system can also be currency optional

    Companies are becoming more international. The online office model is not limited to the workplace, and salaries will be paid in different currencies. This is probably going to be a trend.

There are a number of Report Templates available in the Client Reports which once adapted would be good to copy either from one client to another or better still from a Client to the Practice Reports, making them available for all clients and they could then be included in Monthly Management Reports.

    Currently you can only copy reports within a client or within the Practice Reports and the facility is not available to copy across from one to another

  8. SIE files and SAF-T files are international standards for electronic exchange of accounting data and should, as soon as possible, be included in Xero as a digital application.

  9. We would like to suggest an enhancement to the Xero payroll software that could significantly improve its functionality for our company.

    Currently, Xero offers download options for various pension providers, but we've noticed that True Potential is not among them.

    We propose the addition of a CSV download option specifically for the True Potential pension provider.

    Given that Xero already possesses the necessary data, incorporating this feature would eliminate the need for manual data entry and formatting, reducing the risk of errors and saving valuable time.

  10. Undo option in quotes, invoices etc. When you write int he description field sometimes it gets deleted by mistake and then you ahve to write it all out again. The option to just have an undo button to go back would be so good.

  11. While it's nice to be able to enter a fixed value discount in our business we use % discounts only. We find the new quote discount field feature that requires a % for the discount or it defaults to $ amounts is causing us to make errors. This is especially confusing as it use to default to % and the invoice still does. I have a couple of suggested updates:
    - Create a site wide setting to choose whether your default is $ or %.

  14. Many of my clients prefer a 37.5 hour work week (7.5 hours a day) to a 38 hour work week (7.6 hours a day).
    I am able to set the leave accruals to a 7.5 hour day but the standard work week in "'Assign default leave types" is always 38 hpw and I have to manually change it to 37.5 to match the leave accrual.

  15. When generating an Activity Statement for the GST wouldn't it be great if the information is automatically added to the Bills you need to pay?

  17. You are currently unable to see the projects within the contacts tab against a contact within Xero.
    This would be really helpful as I have some customers that have several projects on the go at one time. This would make it easier to go from one project to another for one client. It would also be a quick reference location. The added quotes, invoices and credit notes added to the contact has been a great step in simplifying contact management - the project listing would complete the loop.

  18. Could the batch payment run on the bank feed be split to contact amount on the bank feed. At present I run a batch payment in xero which is quicker and I can send out all the relevant remittance advices to suppliers. However I haven't got a batch facility on my bank so enter these payments manually for each individual supplier.

    This means when I come to reconcile the bank I have to delete the xero batch payment run and match up the invoices again via the bank reconciliation. This feels like I am doing the work twice, and notes…
