How this isnt a function yet is beyond me! Can you please put this into place urgently, we are paying so much money for this service, this seems like a tiny change that could make a huge impact. Thanks!

Come on Xero, this must be so simple to implement. My old accounts package FreeAgent did this and it cost nothing.

I agree with Kelli. It should be included in the subscription.

We have worked around it by getting one of my developers to write a custom script for the Xero API which then checks once a day for invoice payments.

BUT... no one should have to go to those lengths!

Thanks for this suggestion. However, Envy Analytics looks like a paid app. I believe everyone in this comment thread would appreciate the ability to have notifications about paid invoices coming straight from Xero under the Xero subscription they're already paying for rather than linking a paid integration.

I'm not sure if you work for Xero or Envy Analytics, but I'd like Xero to consider adding this feature to future updates.

We have an app that can help with this, Envy Analytics, which includes our Alerts feature, which sends you an email whenever there are invoices that are fully paid. You can add multiple recipients and change the frequency of alerts (hourly, daily, weekly).

The emails you receive contain hyperlinks to each document (invoice/bill/credit note) that needs actioning so that you can quickly access the document you need to deal with.

Having to login and check if invoices have been paid manually is such a waste of mine and my teams time. When will this basic feature be implemented?

How are ideas reviewed by your Product Management team? This feature request has a long list of comments. Is there a better way to show demand for this functionality? Not having this creates a ton of additional overhead for us to constantly have to check invoices and see if their status has changed.

How many more votes does this need to be incorporated into the roadmap by the PM team?

How is this still something that you don't have on your platform? We, just like many other companies, require this basic functionality. I would be surprised if you aren't losing market share.

Really need this feature in my business, I am not in every day to check the bank account and apps, so need the team to receive a notification.

Please prioritize this feature. It would eliminate a lot of manual checking.

It's terrible that this isn't automatically included, but if it's super necessary, you can implement Zapier as a third party integration to create a notification.

we have customers pay via invoice in the morning, then come in a few hours later to collect their items... we look dumb when we have to ask for proof of payment

is this even being worked on? my team doesn't see the bank account so requires myself to notice the payment come in which i cannot always do in a timely manner. Please priortise this feature!

Unbelieveable this is not standard. This is a deal breaker for our business.

Amazed that this has still not been implemented. FreeAgent used to send me an email to confirm payment had been made. Xero is an upgrade to FreeAgent, so get this done!

Absolutely essential to keep on top of regular payments. Reconciliation may not be done on a weekly basis but keeping on top of regular weekly payments is essential.
