Automate 'send me a copy' on invoices.
Have the option to automatically select 'send me a copy' ticked when creating invoices/repeating invoices.

This has always happened since I have been using Xero from 2018 and I use my emails to easily search for items that I may have supplied my customers. For some reason this has just stopped and for now I will have to remember to tick the box every time to send me a copy. Another step back for new invoicing unfortunately.

The feature was always automatically ticked for send me a copy of the invoice. Now it no longer has this and you have to manually check it EVERYTIME! why did you change it and not atleast give the option to have it ticked as default!!!?

Enough is enough Xero. Not having 'send me a copy' and 'attach file to invoice' a lasting option is becoming extremely frustrating. I need to attach separate pdfs to most of my invoices and if I've ticked them on my desktop that doesn't carry through to sending the invoice from my phone. Also, you not only need to ensure its selected at the time of making the invoice, it needs to be selected the next day if that's when you need to send the invoice.
The fact that this has not be rectified is an absolute joke and pretty poor performance from you Xero. Please fix this as a matter of urgency! -

Guys been using Xero for 2 years and has always sent me a copy of my invoices / quotes. This has now changed and it does not matter if I selected it previously it restores to default (not sending me a copy). I send multiple invoices a day and this is a waste of time clicking this box everytime. Please revert back to how it was.

Not sure why I have to submit a product idea when it looks like it has been raised many times…that might mean this has to be fixed for the paying customers..
It has always been automatic the ‘send me a copy’ then all of a sudden it has been dropped.
This is now made it very difficult to track invoices and quotes, can you please restore asap!! If it can’t I will need a reason please.

This should not be a "Product Idea"! It is a necessary established feature that confirms invoices have been sent, that Xero have decided to drop. Bring it back!

If it can't be made default, what about ticking the 'send me a copy' box at the top of the invoice when adding client, issue date etc.? Also move the attach files up there too would be useful.

The 'Send me a Copy' does not stay on by default in the new invoicing unlike the classic invoicing. This is beyond ridiculous, a major timewaster and should be fixed now. Absolute stupidity that this is even an issue....!

It is absolutely ridiculous that you took this option away from us (your paying clients). We CFOs absolutely rely on the ability to monitor whether our invoices are being opened. I realize I can do it manually, but that is silly. We bulk-send invoices and now I have to individually touch each one. PLEASE RESTORE THIS SETTING ASAP!

Xero, your users have been complaining about this omission from the New Invoicing for 8 months. Do you read these? Do you care? Can you at least explain the logic of omitting this option?

I have had queries from clients on the issue of not being able to select attach a PDF on invoices, they seem to have to select this every time. The old invoicing when you had selected to attach a PDF , the system remembered

Please automate the 'send me a copy' on invoices. This feature was really helpful. I don't want to remember to tick it on every time.

This is a an urgent fix for the new invoicing. I hope it's sorted before the old invoicing is retired. I don't understand why it's not included in the first place.

Send me a copy when automated should also automatically include any attachments that are going with the invoice to the customer.
A few other things seemed more clumsy with extra clicks required as well compared to classic.
E.g. the date selection required more clicks, And I think saving and viewing the invoice PDF which I always do before sending wasn't as straightforward. Same as adding and viewing other attachments.
I've also switched back to Classic Invoicing for this reason. And I am not looking forward to the new system unless it is better with less clicks required.
