New Invoicing - Remove the zeros from the amount field
When entering after Qty field, amount is pre filled with 0.00 and when you type, it will put the amount after e.g 0.00120 instead of 120.00. Please remove the pre filled zeros as with classic invoicing and keep the new invoicing in line with everything else in Xero like bills and spend money etc. It is too different!đŸ˜’

I though I was going crazy when it started to happen last week thinking I did extra TAB but quickly realised that wasn't me.
I am hoping XERO developers listen to the users and stop introducing stupid changes like this.

I definitely see this a a bug and cannot see any purpose for it except to slow down invoicing. Extremely frustrating ....please urgently advise when this will be repaired.

This bug fix request is further outlined in community discussions, but doesn't appear to be raised as a feature request / fix.
Xero has started pre-filling the price field (after the quantity field) with 0.00, which remains (not over-written), such that entering the price comes after the 0.00 (eg entering 50.00 becomes 0.0050 - then have to either swipe over the price or click into it x5 and re-enter.
Used to be able to <tab> enter <tab> enter <tab> etc, now have to use mouse which is slow and/or errors -

It was only updated across our Xero accounts today and I am not sure if this was it's a Friday 4.55pm idea or a junior had a play with it. It's really slows down processing with having to delete the existing $0.00 or it adds it to the end of it. Please remove it.

Hi, please remove the pre-populated 0s from the price field on the invoices! I finally got used to the new invoicing so that I can tab through and now I have to go back and change the price field every time!

It is already a year as this problem (not new idea!) was reported to you. I did not have this problem last month, but now it is happening in OUR BOTH Xero files.
Please remove this feature! It is your mistake! There is no any use of those zeros.
When we tab to Qty column it is empty. Please do the same when we tab to Price column – it MUST be empty, so we can start typing our digits.

I completely agree, its highly irritating and wastes time - why would it even populate 0.00 when clearly no invoice is going to be for that amount?

In the new invoicing, it would be good if the automatically pre-filled price of $0.00 automatically cleared out when you clicked into the box instead of having to manually delete it out before entering the price. Its just creating extra work.
