  3. Dear Support, it would be very handy to have a report so that we can ascertain the status of a clients AS. I know that there is the visual on the status bar. But if you do not have the AS an automated process, for workflow purposes, it would be good to know that is a client is scheduled to has an AS completed, that in fact, this has been completed in the workflow.   9. When we link XPM to Xero, we have to set up a code for Income. This is set to a default code (200 Sales) however we also use codes to differentiate income between Company Accounts, Personal Tax Returns, VAT work etc. Would it be possible to add something that allows us to select the code per job? Or alternatively to allow adding of tracking categories?

  10. Currently, a SWIFT code for each payee will need to be entered each time a batch payment is created, otherwise, batch won't be sent to Bank. It would be helpful if there is any way for Xero to record the swift code from the previous payment so that when we make a new payment for the same supplier, the bank information will be automatically shown in the respective fields.

  11. Given the changes in the WFH deductions area, we have been looking at simple ways our accountants can log on their timesheets when they are WFH so that a simple report can be generated at year end to assist with their personal tax returns.

    We have added the custom field to the time entry where they can specify whether they are working off premises, at the office or from home.

    We have no way of making this a mandatory field and it only comes up when accessing the timesheet entry point of Dashboard -> Enter Time -> Daily

    Hi everyone, we’d like to confirm that GST F5 for foreign currency ledger is not something we have plans to develop at this time. We’re still interested to get a clearer understanding of users that’d like to see this developed for Singapore tax, and will continue to track this through the conversation here.

    In the meantime, for those who aren’t already aware, in a Singapore organisation users can access the GST Audit report which shows the base currency, FX value and Singapore dollar value information you’ll need to meet IRAS requirements.

    As the GST Audit report doesn’t show the gains and losses needed for IRAS reporting, you can use the Foreign Currency Gains and Losses report to see this information.

  14. When completing employment earnings and benefits from Xero Payroll into Xero Tax, it would be really useful to have the two linked. This reduces repetitive tasks and reduces input error.

    Hi Michelle - thank you for raising. We can definitely see how this would help. I've checked with our Product team and this is something that is not currently on our immediate roadmap. However, we will continue to monitor this. In the meantime, we are in the process of adding integration with HMRC to pull employment data for all individuals.

  15. Being about to print multiple Tax Returns by selecting the box in Returns and having a print options, it would be amazing if you could also select to redact Tax file numbers or choose to print them.
    At the moment I need to print 17 today, I have to go into each individual client and select the tax return, select to print etc. It would save a lot of time being able to print multiples

  16. I'd like the ability to restrict who can see documents in Xero sign within the practice - then we can use it for all documents that need signing, including Staff contracts and other sensitive information that we don't necessarily want the whole team to be able to view.

  17. An easier way to schedule tasks. A lot of my clients create annual jobs with lots of tasks and want to be able to schedule tasks in the same way you can allocate staff. You hit a button and schedule all the tasks in a list with assignable start and due dates. I have more than 40 clients that I am doing implementation and training and XPM support for, and all of them has asked me for an easier way to do task scheduling.

We are wondering if you could add a script at the phone number field in XPM so that when we click on client's phone numbers, the website will trigger an application (such as Microsoft Teams) to make phone call. This will save us time having to copy and paste phone number onto the application.

  19. Prefill contact name of partner or manager to the Tax return cover page.

    Purpose: To help with changeover of managers of clients and when there is staff turnover or promotions of staff.

    As currently goes it rolls over from the prior year return and a change in staff or manager require it to be changed manually. Having the contact name prefill from the client details page when the update of a new manager is allocated to the client. This can be set to be either the partner or manager through a check box stating which name to prefill.

  20. It would be so much better to be able to publish a GST return with the ability to alphabetically list the Account names so all transactions can be presented grouped by the same account code. Then the client can easily review their audit report and identify transactions in the wrong account code.
