  1. It would be good to have more control of the error messages, and ability to dismiss these for specific clients. This would reduce noise for clients that you do not do VAT for.

Similarly to iFirm, would be great to be able to make amendments to the return in Xero, mark it as an amendment, and then file from Xero rather than having to make the amendment in MyIR, then make the same amendment to the already filed tax return in Xero. Makes it harder to keep track of what has been done.

  4. Currently the SB Pool Detail report contains a large number of columns and the report appears cramped and difficult to read due to the smaller font size.

    It would be helpful to have the ability to change the column order and remove excess or un-needed columns, as is possible for the other tax and accounting depreciation schedules.

  5. Make a schedule for allocating partner income and tax credits allocations with a total giving the ability to allocate income on the one page. Currently you have to go into each partner schedule. There is not always an even split of income and with many partner entities it is very time consuming.

  6. It isn't possible to add a quantity column to a report, nor is it possible to pull through Qty data entered in Xero or create a cell the Qty can be manually typed into.

    You can add a note column but this would be to link to a section of the report pack, not a quantity loaded into Xero or a box we could manually type the quantity into. Further the notes section functionality is unable to be renamed and can only be linked to other reports in the report pack. It does not work to bring through Qty data.

  10. Hi,

    When completing Deceased Estate returns in Xero Tax, it seems as per the screenshot provided the newly added estimates does not calculate the Super Lump Sum Tax Offset given the complexity and nature of the Lump Sums.

    Is there a way to have Xero Tax calculate the estimate with the Super Lump Sum Tax Offset taken into consideration as it has been in the past on MYOB? This way we can obtain a more accurate estimate of the tax payable for the Trustee.

  11. Please make it possible to allocate expenses to any bank account while in hubdoc. That way a lot of time is saved when reconciling transactions to the bank account.

  12. In APS you have the ability to live synch the tax ledger. As an example a transfer to 2025 from 2024 income tax made today won't show until the next day in the tax return summary.
    A synch button to do this would be helpful and save time from stopping the job until the next day to print/save

  13. When converting a pdf to csv, the platform will high-light the extracted lines so that you can see any MISSED lines that you need to manually add to the csv before importing. If you leave that screen, however, and proceed to download your csv, those high-lights disappear and you have no way to get them back. There should be a way to download the high-lighted pdf, get the high-lights back, or at the very least a warning to the user to capture this data now or lose it forever once you proceed to download your csv.

  14. We've just found out to our horror that we lose access to ALL Xero historic accounts and tax filings prepared and submitted through Xero Tax for a client if the Xero sub is cancelled.
    Apparently this is because Xero needs to maintain access to the live data even for filed returns. Therefore, there has to be a process where ALL accounts and tax comps must be downloaded and stored elsewhere each year. We think that's crazy and that all filed returns should be stored in Xero Tax as PDFs. If nothing else, there should be a flag warning us! This…

    Hi everyone, appreciate raising this with us.

    Our product team has confirmed that these records are not deleted when an organisation is deleted, but they're moved into a hidden state. We're looking into how we can improve the storing of these within Xero HQ in future. If you need help with this in the meantime please contact our Xero support team via Xero Central.

  15. Would like the ability to see Write-ons / Write-offs on the Invoices dashboard for Draft invoices to allow easier review of drafts.

    Alternatively some form of reporting that takes draft invoices into account vs billable time to see 'draft write-ons/offs'.

  16. Allow us to access Xero Tax in advance of the year end - company and self assessment - as it stands we cannot even set up the details/schedules we know we will need. In other software you could load up the information before the year end date had passed to give the client an estimate of tax liability as the year progresses. Furthermore, this allows you to load information as you receive it - e.g. Company Director dividends to self assessments as you complete company accounts

  17. Create a Registered Office field in the contact details so that for client companies, we can have a quick view of physical/business, postal and registered office details. Currently, we have had to create a custom field, which you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to view.

  18. Account number to be synced to XPM from Xero. This unique account number/code is very useful and would be great to be automatically synced. Further, if, just like in Xero, it is a set field in XPM that notifies you when you are duplicating a code that has already been used for another client.

  19. Stop dating in 1900s.
    Today I typed in the date 5/3/25. Click on the little calendar that appears, the month says March 25. Click on 5 March 25.

    Hubdoc interprets this as the year 1925.

    I dont think there are many people entering receipts from 100 years ago.
    Please remove those last century calendars from Hubdoc.

    While you fix that, since the Hubdoc file is linked to a Xero file can you also stop hubdoc processing into a closed year. It warns you AFTER it's been sent to Xero, then doesn't let you correct it because of the status -…

    We have a separate idea around the lock dates that I've just added your vote for across here. We don't have any plans for this but if any are made I'll let you know, there.

  20. I learned the hard way after bulk importing 1,700 jobs on the wrong template that you could not delete those imported jobs in bulk. I spent 4 hours individually opening each job from a report and deleting.

    It would be great to use job manager to be able to select jobs (assuming they haven't got any time, costs or invoices associated with them) and delete.
